UD eXtreme 2.5 w/ chevy-lv-1250mhz (I nearly crapped myself)

BB V0.4 800 Mhz Stock Kernel, a few widgets and applications running. The most stable out of all Froyo ROMs that I've tried, and perfectly fine with the speed. :D

Just got drocap2 and finally figured it out (too tired)...
Just got a used Droid from a crackberry member last week. Once I got it I updated to BBv0.4 w/ P3 LV 1.1 kernel. Not to shabby with normal apps running in the bg. This set up has been very solid, smooth and fast. I'm so happy I made the switch, loving my Droid.

My latest high was w/ BBeast v.4 w/ Jake's 1GHz kernel and scored a 1541. Keeps getting better and better. And my battery life is great.

1144 for me

I could improve, but it is fast and stable

So, how does this stack against the competition?Evo, X or iPhone4?

1243 Chevy's 1.1 lv running kangerade v4.0.7 pink theme

Major bout of insomnia tonight so I just dl'd several kernals BC I am determined to find the perfect match. Will report back.

Too lazy to flash roms again :)

EDIT: 1368 p3droid 1ghz
Running hot immediately. Meh. Not satisfied.

EDIT2: 1458 jdlfg 1.1 ghz
W00t!! Stoked. Gonna run this for a couple days to see if this is it...

Also can anyone tell me (yeah I've searched...) is jdlfg 'jake'? Looked at the sticky but inconclusive ...

Thx.

Don't know how to post a pic here...lol. But mine was 1150-1190 OC at 1ghz, 1495 first run at 1.2 ghz. I'm soooo pleased! woohoo!

are you using jakes froyo kernals in thefroyo kernal sticky?

Yeah, that's them. On my Droid at least, no other kernel can come near the responsiveness that Jake's has. But no two Droids are alike.

Also, just flashed the Succulent Desire v.6.5 ROM and w/ Jake's 1GHz racked up a new, slightly higher score: 1547. Inching our way forward.

Jake and jdlg are definitely different people.[/QUOTE]

Thanks. I was definitely confused. Ive read such good things about Jake's kernals and some not so great things about the .32 jdlfg kernals but ended up flashing the 1ghz jdlfg and so far my Droid is in love. Too bad I have ADHD and can't stick to one ROM for longer than a week. Especially this week. Can't decide if i wanna flash bb 4 or the new kangerade. Ah decisions, decisions. Either way still hoping for better benchmark numbers. Is that wrong? :-)

I just pulled a Quadrant score of 1578 running a full load (my loaded SH2 theme with 105 non-system apps and 20 widgets running) -- BB v0.4 using Chevy's 1.1Ghz LV kernel.

I scored a 1699 yesterday with Chevy's 1.2Ghz MV kernel, running the same setup, but unfortunately my Droid wasn't stable with that kernel. So far, the only Froyo kernel I've been able to run consistently with no stability or heat issues (and I've tried them all) is Chevy's 1.1Ghz LV.

Just got a *1715* 2nd test running Jakes 1/2 at 1.2/1.2 performance with the bare Kangerade v 5.0.9. It rebooted though when I was adjusting some settings. I'm flashing BBv0.4 right now with Jakes 1.2....we'll see.

This is about my average using stock Kangerade 5.0.9 and P3's LV 1.25 kernel.

Yet another new high, and finally DLed drocap2. This is running Succulent Desire v.6.5 w/ Jake's 1GHz kernel. 14 widgets running w/ Steel Beast over Black Glass theme. Really impressed w/ the ROM and kernel. I sooo wish I could make Jake's 1.2GHz stable, at least stable enough to test on Quadrant, just to see.

Switched SetCPU to performance and stopped some running services. Ran a series of four tests, and this was my peak. Averaged in the 1660's. Same setup as my above post.
