Looks like TIRay73 and joekissfm on Twitter are at the grassy knoll looking around right now. That clue is way to obvious so I doubt it is there.

Yeah, there's probably about a dozen people all looking around there right now. Another person tweeted he is there also.

I skipped the arch, because if it wa son the arch-grounds, there were like 20,000 people there on the Fourth, and someone would have found it. If it's in the arch, I'm not going up there because those little elevator cars gave me such huge claustrophobia the first (and last time) I went in one, that I couldn't do it again... so good luck on whomever looks for it up there!

Yeah, I'm not getting super involved until we know WHAT we're looking for and how we'll know if we find it.

At this rate, by the time they start releasing relevant clues the phone will have been released.

Just a quick reminder so you can clown the other clowns on twitter, the clue says it's NEAR a grassy knoll, not AT the knoll. Somone suggested a museum or something. No idea about that area, but I hope you find it before them!!!!!
 
Its not at the grassy knoll. But the more people wasting their time there gives me a better shot. Wife gets home in an hour then traffic or no traffic I'm gonna get that phone. Unless someone posts pics of them and the phone of course and says where they found it. I know where its at damnit. I wanna scream outload

How old is your kid? you can take them with you....cars makes kids sleepy....hehe. You could make a bunch of noise around the house to wake them up by "accident"....

Just get a babysitter, you're making me too excited to work because I want to know what the hell to look for in these clues and on the ground haha

I'm new to Twitter and not having a pleasant experience. Is it just me or does Twitter occasionally refresh to a blank white page with the clues in JSON format (curly braces, colons, etc.)?

I checked out the Excelsior Hotel in NYC and found nothing, but it is worth noting that the hotel is right across the street from the Rose Center for Earth and Space and the Hayden Planetarium, which are part of The Museum of Natural History. I checked out the Rose Center and a few exhibits in the Museum, but no dice. I have no idea what I'm looking for, but my gut tells me that this is the right area to be looking.
 
Well the only 2 clues for #5 are that it is way south of Nebraska and start your engine. And that it is near a grassy knoll.

There is Texas Motor Speedway in Dallas, but it's no where near the Grassy Knoll
 
Looks like #15 may be my best shot. Too bad "near mountains. Next to some other mountains. Next to its hdmi port." doesn't say ANYTHING.

Hopefully it's not actually in Denver, but closer to the other Front Range cities, like Boulder or Longmont (I don't feel like driving an hour to Denver)
 
My theory is that everyone might be wasting time looking around right now. I'm really starting to think that despite earlier clues they are going to have representatives walking around on a specific date ( maybe in vzw stores) and they'll say
" Hey look at this!" or whatever the catch phrase was from the earlier clue. how could they pass up on all of the great pub of catching people on video who won free phones? (and to keep the phone one will have to sign over all rights to said video. Pretty good deal for them to pay a couple hundred bucks to someone for a nationwide video and of course that person will give the money right back with their cell and data plan.)

Texas Motor Speedway is more of North Ft. Worth, yes, no where near the grassy knoll. I'm hoping/thinking this is just like the aforementioned Lombard St. clue, in that it's just getting people ready in the area, and then a more definite clue will be given soon. "Hoping" because I'm in Arlington and I hope I didn't miss out :P

Though I had previously (as in a couple days ago) thought about Dealey Plaza because of the X on the ground where Kennedy was shot...
