Only thing I saw at I-80 when I entered and left San Fran was a huge ass billboard for the Ipad lol! It's literally right there where you enter and exit the freeway into the city.
 
Honestly I think we're all being bamboozled. It seems pretty hopeless at this point considering they keep introducing new Droid Xs instead of narrowing down the previous clues at all.

I'm torn. Part of me is rooting for him, so I can forget about going to look for it. The other part of me is greedy and likes shiny new toys.

Morbid is showing on N. Field St right now, in between Patterson and San Jacinto... Although GPS hasn't been reported to Latitude for 10min now...
 
Okay has anyone thought that maybe this isn't even a Verizon Twitter account? What if its just some dumb kid messing with everyone? Its strange that not one Verizon store/employee has a clue about this promotion.

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer here, just food for thought...............

All of me likes shiny new toys. :D Plus I'm po' and could use the free aspect of a free phone.

But for srs, if he does find it, mass kudos.

Pay attention, over there. This all started with the twitter address from Verizon's own commercial for the X

Verizon is following the account, so it seems pretty legit.

Yes that has been considered. But another official VZW Twitter account made a comment that pretty much confirmed that it's legit.

Droidlanding was hidden in the Droid X teaser ad by Verizon, and @VZWOffers has mentioned it as well.

I've thought the same thing more than once in the last week or so. However, I won a Blackberry Storm in the NYC contest a few years back. It was run completely by a 3rd party company. Verizon staff knew nothing about it, even when I called in to have it activated after it was shipped to me by the 3rd party.

Well I know that, but why has not one Verizon employee even acted like they know about it? At least one would have squealed by now, look at the all mighty Apple and their security. They had an entire phone lost. :)

So someone should have let the cat out of the bag by now I would think.
 
not a verizon promo according to a verizon customer service rep...she said its thru the marketing dept. they had no clue of it... not to hurt anyone's feelings here, but csr's seem to be the most useless and uniformed people at verizon, they haven't even been told the pricing of the Dx yet it's plastered all over a hundred websites and was announced in the press conference by ceo of vzw
