I believe # 6 left from the FL keys.. .and was heading north. Say Miami or Fort Lauderdale??![]()
Yep i was there! im thinking they stay for 10 min (x)..... there is a big "x" on the street where JFK was "shot" for final time! that footage was caught by Zupruder atop a column on the grassy knoll! Crazy!Looks like TIRay73 and joekissfm on Twitter are at the grassy knoll looking around right now. That clue is way to obvious so I doubt it is there.
Yes, I signed up when I first started following DroidLanding. I got an Email confirming my sign up to confirm my entered Email addy was real. But, I never remember submitting a mailing address.
I do believe its in Houston as well. But the humidity thing is bugging me. Been to Houston couple of times and it was humid as hell!

Maybe they learned from the Evo and didn't want to take preorders so they wouldn't underproduce.
Because to me a manufacturer sees 300k preorders and makes 400k phones for the first shipment, but not even one preorders and that causes bad press.
I think your all wrong on #15. Here's my theory.
Droid X designate #15 is near mountains. Boulder Mountains
Next to some other mountains. Rocky Mountains
Next to its hdmi port What's next to the HDMI port on the Droid X? The USB port.
USB = Upper South Boulder Creek
Droid X designate #15 is at a high altitude. Of course, nothing can slow down its 1Ghz processor All of these features are at Boulder which is at 5,438 feet above sea level and is a higher elevation than Denvers Mile (5280 feet)
Whatcha think??
Does anyone else get the vibe that each of these Droids are being carried by an individual?
I thought about adding a pre order for the incredible just so I can attempt to change to the droid... long shot and sounds like it won't work.
I would call once a day and attempt to order it. For some reason somewhere I heard we could pre-order on the 10th.
As far as the "Of course, nothing can slow down its 1Ghz processor" part, it could be refering to the speed of the Upper South Boulder. It is a difficulty (V+) whitewater rapids.![]()
People have searched the top of the crooked part of the street, which from what I remember, is the highest point of Lombard. As far as the trolley stops, these are indicated by a pole with a small sign containing a picture of a person getting on a trolley. These are on the side walk, and completely out in the open. There is nothing around these stops. So if it were "hidden" there, the only place to hide it would be at the bottom of the pole, which... well then its just completely out in the open and not hidden at all.New to the forums here ... was looking at the SF clues (#3)
"Consulted with Droid expert. Droid #3 should be located at higher altitude."
"Droid X designate #3 is near the west coast. Droid hunters are advised to start looking at the shoreline and work inland."
"Droid X designate #3 is in California. The most powerful cybernetic machine since Arnold took office."
"Droid designate #3 is using all its 1Ghz processing power just to navigate Lombard St."
I admit I don't know a lot about SF .. but was thinking .. the first clue says it is at higher altitude .. I would think I would start looking near the highest point along the street. Also, the final clue about needing it's processing power to navigate Lombard St ... maybe on a trolley car or a stop somewhere near the trolleys or some other sort of transportation?
I don't know SF at all, so just going off of what I know about SF and Lombard.
Remember, it doesn't say it is on Lombard .. just near Lombard.
Hey to backtrack a bit to the early shipping of Droid X's, I came across one of the threads that explains how it happened:
Verizon shipping droid X?!? - Android Central Forums
Hey, SAN FRAN GUYS - & Woop
Back to #3
On the corner of Lombard & Hyde St, (This is HIGH up there already) there is a Wooded hill, did you check the top of that hill?
Check it out and let me know if my droid X is there.
Check street view to see what I mean
The people that went looking checked that area first. That is the entrance to the "crooked" part of the street, thus the most heavily crowded area (mainly tourists). All around there, other than the George Sterling Memorial, are homes/apartments.Hey, SAN FRAN GUYS - & Woop
