Where is the car dock?

Supposed to be coming this month, but the lack of accessories AT or around launch is pretty shitty.
 
Breaking News....Sprint to release car dock next year for 200 dollars and brag about how they listen to what people want.

ugh so like 2 more weeks possibly. lets just safely assume 4 weeks so hopefully i'll be pleasantly surprised.
 
Will the official car dock have any features that a one-size-fits-all dock lacks? I'm wondering if there's any reason to keep waiting before ordering something.

it'll be better tailored to the phone (snug fit). that's about it. probably better construction over a one size fits all as well.

the dock made for it will have a charging port and i'm pretty positive that when you sit it in the car dock, it will automatically switch to nav mode.
 
Whatever comes out - I hope its on a ball joint that will allow the EVO to be in landscape or portrait modes.
 
Fiending for this since I travel a lot and the Evo is the second best GPS I have ever used (and has one of the largest screens of a GPS I have ever used.
 
I been waiting for this since I got my phone I was going to get amazon one but I decided not to at the end and I want a dock at home too because I use my phone as an alarm... I stop using my ipod touch a lot lately lol I just wish I had angry birds on Android and I will be set ha ha, I love the game

That DOES look sexy as hell! I just hope the EVO model doesn't require you to permanently stick that damn disc on the back.

On second thought, that's actually a custom battery cover. Looks like it has battery contacts and is powered/charged via the base. The first pic show the micro-usb port. Neat design. Can't wait to see what HTC comes up with for the EVO.
 
I was wondering why is the evo's car dock is around 59 bucks and the hd2 is like 80 plus.....so far I am leaning towards the hd2 an I will modify it. If the evo's is going to be inferior I much rather mod the hd2. If some one has pics of the Evo's car dock that would be cool.
