Major: Sociology on a Pre-medicine track

Joseph is a member of the Class of 2012 in the College of Arts and Sciences at Penn. He is majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Health and Medicine on the Pre-Medicine track. He is also a brother of the only Latino fraternity at Penn, La Unidad Latina Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity Inc. As a SUMR scholar, Joseph is working with LDI Senior Fellow Tulia Falleti, PhD to analyze the civic participation in health councils in Brazil and the health care system in Argentina and Brazil.

Joseph is interested in exploring the health care disparity that Latinos experience in and out the United States and find solutions to this problem. He believes that a good physician must understand human relations in order to help others. He wishes to obtain MD/PhD in the humanities field and eventually become a surgeon to help his community. In his leisure time, he enjoys going to the movies, meeting new people, cooking with friends, and trying hobbies.

Quick GPS nub questions.


When I do a "what's here" search for a location in google it spits out a gps coordinate that is in the form
31.317051,-65.102657

but the droid landing coordinates are in the form of
N 39 57.488 W 75 10.351

How do I convert the ones from google into the same format as from droidlanding?
I don't have a handheld GPS, so i'm trying to pre-map some of the possible locations with their GPS coordinates, droidlanding style.

Would I have to multiple the
.317051
and the
.102657
parts by 60 and thats it?

I know the W corelates to the (-) sign
