"Missing Droid X Real-World Give-Away" Contest (1st Post:Updated)

DC is about a 5 hour drive for me from Raleigh, NC. I would love to be there but I just don't know if I could chance it. I'm planning to get one next week anyway.

FancyPants, congrats. I hope you are enjoying the X

rlw889, so close.

I'm right abut 3.5-4 hours away -- not sure if it's worth my while -- and if the wife will let me/go with me...so torn!

I thought about it man... Not sure if I want to make the 4 hour drive for a slight chance to find the phone or a $20 gift certificate.

Yeah, that's kinda the way I figure -- but I just don't know -- I mean it could be a nice day trip to DC if nothing else....

I need someone help...just downloaded twitter for my blackberry cuz hopefully its faster sad more reliable then the texts...can someone send me a message to @bbuck002 so I can see the time difference. I may hold you up on that!

I have a couple key points in mind that I plan to hang around so that when the clues come in I'll hopefully be close by.

Eh Im still undecided if Im actually going to do it or not. Its pretty much confirmed for Sunday correct?

With a 1Ghz processor Droid X designate #21 is a center of power.

FROM WIKI --

A power centre is an unenclosed shopping centre with 250,000 square feet (23,000 m2) to 750,000 square feet (70,000 m2) of gross leasable area[2] that usually contains three or more big box retailers and various smaller retailers (usually located in strip malls) with a common parking area shared among the retailers........Other examples are Seven Corners Shopping Center in suburban Washington, D.C.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_centre#cite_note-4

I may have missed something, really hard to keep up with this thread. How do you know when they are going to give out the main clues and the phone? Did I miss something? Thanks in advance!

Why is #17 in Detroit. First modern traffic light invented in 1912 in salt lake and Detroit does not have largest cement plant.

Read the whole thing from Wikipedia...
As early as 1912 in Salt Lake City, Utah, policeman Lester Wire invented the first red-green electric traffic lights. On 5 August 1914, the American Traffic Signal Company installed a traffic signal system on the corner of East 105th Street and Euclid Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. It had two colors, red and green, and a buzzer, based on the design of James Hoge, to provide a warning for color changes. The design by James Hoge allowed police and fire stations to control the signals in case of emergency.
The first four-way, three-color traffic light was created by police officerWilliam Potts in Detroit, Michigan in 1920.

You and your friends must do well with the ladies.

If # 11 is for Oklahoma I wonder if they will move it. We have been getting hammered with rain and there has been a lot of flooding and 3 or more deaths from said flooding. I mean I will still go and search but hell if it does not stop raining it might throw off my plans to go the day before.

Also I wonder if that is why they have not posted anything about it.
And another question that I have is there a program for a tilt2 to get the twitter post? I am on ATT, I am cheap also so something free to do this would be nice.
