On a side note...I called my local Verizon Wireless store this afternoon asking if they have a demo of the phone in the store yet. The Verizon employee said:
"I'll be honest with you...we do have one...but we're not supposed to show it to anyone."
How that makes sense I will never know.
Um....I called this yesterday without any clues. Damn.
Map, GPS, Aircard/Laptops, Smartphones, 10 way conference call, and Camera all set to go!!
DDDDDDDRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDD!!!!
Is this accurate? Saw i on @droiddecoder
"@design_flaw Certificates aren't placed until the GPS coordinates are tweeted. "
Hey everyone, new to the forum. just wanted to help w the search if possible. I was at James Hook yesterday, my son and I searched the restaurant before the coords were tweeted, and they do not hide it until it's tweeted. I think the clue before the coords is definately what you need to Google. If you google live lobster Boston, it comes up James Hook, same w the Long Time thing in NY. You need to be basically next to the certificate when coords are sent to win, it's just too quick. I figured out the general area of where it would be, and was drooped off at James Hook. What messed me up was the clue before the coords included the word waterproof, and there's a bridge next to the restaurant, with water at the end. They then changed that tweet not to include the waterproof part. I should've turned around, and went back, but I didn't. I was the 3rd person there, after she won. Hope this helps somewhat, the tweet before the coords needs to be Googled! Good luck everyone.
I'm surprised Verizon hasn't tweeted a pic of the winner yet...or another vid of yesterday's Philly winner...
Droid X designate #6 will be in a town with theme parks in 2 days. Where there are plenty of other androids.
Orlando, right?
Could be Orldando or Tampa. Tampa has Busch Gardens and Adventure Island (Water Park).
But which park has plenty of Androids?

Hollywood Studios @ Disney has the Star Wars experience that's coming to an end pretty soon after like 20 years. Sounds like a pretty good idea since the term "Droid" is leased from Lucasfilm.
maybe they're using this?

Nah, the guy was doing paper work w her also. Am I the first to post pics of all this?? WIN.It looks like the guy sitting down doing paperwork with her is her friend. He's checking out the Droid like he's never seen one before while she fills out the paperwork. The guy to his left is part of the team; he probably helped hide it/sticks around to not look too suspicious but that hat is ridiculous.
