do you mean same with stock headphones ?
cauz now i have Samsung B7610 and its stock headphones suck and hence sound quality too. so m now using creative headphones and it sounds good with that.
plz let me know.

How to install using file manager ASTRO.

1. Connect your phone with the PC via USB cable (select storage option if it asks). Now you can see a removable device in your PC.
2. Copy .apk files to your phone
3. Disconnect USB.
4. Open file manager
5. Navigate to the .apk file location.
6. Click on the .apk file. It will ask you to open with app manager if you have ASTRO. Select that.
7. Click on install button.
8. Click on install again.
9. voila.

i actually know this method bt just wanted to know if root is required for adb...

and e1 i dont wanna take risk with root and all.. bt i am actually curious if there is actually a speed increase like they mention...

Yes, i was able to connect to it...

Check before connecting to usb that Samsung kies is selected in USB settings [Settings > About phone > USB settings > Samsung Kies ]

welcome.. yeah.. rooting may increase the speed. But you will have to sacrifice the touchwiz UI.

oh... well however i use Launcher Pro.. i liked the touch wiz ui bt who ever had a look at my phone for the first time had this common comment "china iphone?" and tht gets irritating.... i mean didnt they ever heard or saw anything else except iphone??

Damn.. LOL "china phone".. hehee.. you know I've nexus one.. and some of my fellow has iPhone.. But when we go out.. everybody ask to me "hey which phone is this?" ... and nobody ask about iPhone.. coz it's common. And ofcourse.. stock android looks better.. nobody has commented about china phone.. :D
 
The indian market version is significantly different from its international counterparts.

1. As mentioned above, it contains an extra leather pouch

2. Its baseband version is inferior to the international version ( this can be fixed with a simple update)

3. It does not allow access to the "full" android market. (The android market and app availability depend on what region you are in...ie asia, the americas etc). The android market in india is customized to meet the peoples demands...and as such, ALL the apps are FREE! This means the majority of games and apps are trial/lite versions. The american version of the android market however, shows "paid" apps, as well as "free" apps; allowing users to purchase the full/complete versions.

4. The inferior baseband in the indian version results in a somewhat faulty GPS...again, a small firmware update to the baseband should fix that. Though, whether or not the update is available in india is another issue.

5. Finally, the most disappointing thing of all (in My I9000), is that it Does not deliver what's promised!!! In terms of video playback, half of the supposed supported file types eg WMV, 3GP, & some AVI variants, show up as "unsupported files." This is one of the phones most esteemed features: the ability to play most of the popular video file extensions!

I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

(test it by downloading a WMV file from microsoft's media gallery at WMV HD Content Showcase)

Everything else is in order and works as it should. There is occasional lag, but Android 2.2 Froyo should iron out those annoyances. Also, the speed of the memory card (eg class 2, class 3 etc) has an impact on overall speed. The lower the class, the slower the read write speed, and hence, the slower the overall data fetching speed...aka lag
 
Guys, i have an issue when i connect my phone to my PC.
I don't have KIES installed (don't think i really need it).
But each time i plug it via usb, there are different options?
I can hardly access my phone memory/sd card very few times.
I try to um-mount the sd card and then plug the usb, still doesn't work.
i connect it directly and then say "mount sd card", still doesn't work.
Whats the easies way to access your sd card when plugged in via usb?
am i going wrong with the settings?

Yeah iphone is too common i agree... and samsung only fault is to provide this great piece of hardware with looks of iphone.. :( .. bt launcher pro has helped me a lot! :)

and in mumbai ppl are nt tht technically knowledgable... in my class most of them dont even noe something called as "android" exists... and the best cellphone to exist till date according to them is iphone.. !!

Not only in mumbai buddy.. that problem is everywhere.. People don't know about andriod. But you wait.. everybody will come to know the power of android. Give it some time... and yeah.. iPhone sucks.. coz guy like me need freedom.. I can install custom ROMs in my cellphone. I can transfer files without iTunes kind of software. I can remove my battery LOL. And yeah... I can reject incoming calls. iPhone 3GS has no facility to reject incoming call. There are plenty of things about it..

And yeah.. this iPhone and android debate will be a classic debate like PS3 and PC... :D

and didnt knew abt the rejecting calls.... why dont they throw their iphone's and get nokia 1100... i am sure it can reject calls!! LoL!

True.. my fellow has iPhone and he has to put the mobile on silent if don't want to receive call. :D.. it sucks.

guys i have samsung galaxy s...nd it is working great....i need to download ngpay software in my mobile but im unable to download...it jus says that check in ur games folder...bt it does not exist...pls help me to download ngpay...i hope u have heard about it...
