Help ***Official*** Status of your Droid X order thread

Well as I said earlier. I was told that if it was processed you would 100% get it on time according to your ship method. I was told I would have a tracking number by 4:30. Well I said to myself your not going to call. Over and over at 4:30. Well at 4:45 and no notice yet I just had to. I was nice as polite and thinking waste of time. But. Yes bay it is on it's way. Good luck to the rest of ya. And my order status is still the same.

So you got your email then? I still haven't. Your order info on verizon says still processing though?

If it's not delivered on Friday, just call FEDEX and request to pick it up yourself from their local distribution center on Saturday.
 
No I still haven't got a email notice.

I called and asked if they could check for tracking info for me. Guy tried to joke about me trying to get it first since I ordered at 11:57pm last night but I stayed calm. And simply stated I would have already had it in store, if that was the case, but the no full retail blew that.

But no I called and still haven't got an email. Other then the one saying processed will ship based on yada, yada, yada
 
Ordered at 130 this morning, shipped email at 315 this afternoon. I paid for priority overnight (by 1030), but Fedex shipping shows standard (by 3:00). Curious as to what my card was charged...

"Order Status: Your order has been processed and will be shipped based on inventory availability and shipping method. You will receive shipment notification and tracking details via email."

No shipping yet.

Yeah that's my concern, that they won't deliver it tomorrow and will wait til Monday, If they choose to wait I wonder if they'd let me pick it up tomorrow.

I also thought All online orders included free overnight shipping some people didn't have to enter the FREEOVERNT code to get free overnight shipping while others did but I choose to use the 10% and was told via Verizon chat that it should still be overnight knew it wouldn't be :(

Mine changed to that about 45 minutes before I got shipping info. :D

Mine is also coming from PA, which in a way kind of sucks. I could drive there to pick it up before FedEx shows up any time by 4:30 tomorrow.

I was Joking when I said that about the 19th...but now that I decided to go really look I cant believe this...what the crap is VZW thinking they have had months to learn from the incredible mess...now the X is heading the same way.. well I guess demand is good for users so good luck yall

I have the same message and I ordered ASAP last night too. AHHHHH! Verizon better not mess this up I am sick of companies not living up to promises! I returned my Evo because of Sprint's crap. If I don't have my Droid X tomorrow I swear it is off to T-Mobile for the Vibrant! I have NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM! :mad:

Good luck with that. Even if it arrives at the facility Saturday morning, those shipments stay in the containers until the sort Monday morning. The only shipments that are processed on a Saturday by the "skeleton" crew are Saturday shipments. And NO FedEx CS rep is going to go thru an entire can to find one shipment because it's near impossible. Sorry

If it arrives at the facility Friday morning, do call FedEx to request a Hold at Location. Much better chance of getting to your shipment if it arrives Friday vs Saturday.
 
this is getting ridiculous. you think if they actually don't ship it in time they will remove the charge for overnight shipping? they better.
 
Has anyone called to find out if those of us with overnight shipping from today will have their phones go out today? I have two orders. One went out, one didn't -- yet. If I call again, I will be setting a record on number of minutes on the phone with Verizon in one day.
 
Anyone here in Nashville, TN in the 37205 zip? If you are north of Harding Rd between St Thomas and Bellevue limits (aka - The Web), I'll be delivering your Droid X tomorrow!
 
I ordered my phone at 11:50p EST (July 14) got the early bird pricing on it $149.99 and free overnight shipping. I billed it to my account and ordered accessory package. As of 6:30p EST I haven't received any shipping info. My order status currently has the "Processed" message. Just called Verizon to make sure pricing wasn't a fluke or something was wrong with my order, rep told me it shipped and would be here by 3 tomorrow! :D Give them a call if you ordered at midnight and still have nothing.

Also dialing *611 says there's a high call volume so you may have to wait, but I got a rep on the phone immediately/no wait.

So ready to get rid of the crackberry....

I'm in southern cal and ordered it at 12:50 am est.

I was getting nervous after the whole Incredible fiasco(which I had for 30days and returned)

worst case scenario: us w/ out shipping info prob lucked out of the first batch eventhough we ordered super early(I did at 930pm pst july 14th) and up for second shipment..

best case scenario: just laggy and we made the first batch and will get our phones tomorrow, those who started ordering after the "will ship by 7/23" will be second batch..

Thanks for the idea, I was wondering if that was possible, mostly because the tracking says a signature would be required, and I kinda screwed the pooch by having it sent to my house instead of work.
