Help ***Official*** Status of your Droid X order thread

IN TRANSIT...

people that aren't getting tracking numbers, are you on the west coast. cuz i bet everyone that has one shipped as of now is on the east coast
 
I've got this
"Order Status: Your order has been processed and will be shipped based on inventory availability and shipping method. You will receive shipment notification and tracking details via email."

no email giving me a FedEx tracking number and I had overnight shipping
 
Mine went from processing to :

But still not shipped yet.

I have posted this previously, and will post again since it looks like people are reading back-posts.

I order at 12:50 am EST this morning, and I had that same status showing until 2:00 PM when I got my email with tracking info, The phone had already been picked up at 10:30 AM according to FedEx. {I have gone back and check what my status is online with VZW and it still hasn't changed from that message you guys are fearing}

While i was nervous and waiting for tracking info i called verizon wireless online order support and they said that message means, they have your droid x in stock, and you are in line to be shipped according to the order you placed. So don't fear if you got next day shipping it will be going out today or already has, the notice just hasn't come out yet. Don't worry.

If something was wrong with your order, the status would be "on-hold" or something of that nature!!

hopefully that is right and you get droid tomorrow too :D


mine is currently in Ontario California, interesting origin point for a Boston, MA delivery location :confused:

Order mine via phone 10am EST this morning. Got a email about 2 hours ago saying that it shipped 8) Guess i didn't realize it was 2 day shipping though *sigh* ... I would have paid extra for next day.

Well damn I'm in Ontario, CA so hopefully mine will come from there too and I'll get it tomorrow!

I think the problem for us folks is we have that same message still.....and NO email with tracking information. I could care less if the message stays the same as long as I have my tracking information. But I have no comfirmation my phone has even shipped yet.

I'm not so sure. Alot of people on west coast were actually able to order before east-coasters due to verizon opening up access on the website by your stored zip code.

Also my units is shipping from a California distribution center despite my location in Boston...... from South-West California to North-East Boston.... Silly Verizon:rolleyes:

so it looks like you could buy just as early from west coast, and west coast is shipping.

it still looks random to me :rolleyes:


Edit: @Bennec yea yea I saw your post, then realized its already 4:47 EST. I would give it a couple more hours atleast though. Some fedex locations aren't at 4:30 yet so could still recieve overnight packages for an hour or two. Also Verizon may be a few hours late in updating the system for display. that could mean another 3-5 hours before notification

But yes I would be on edge too i must ad mit, if my info wasn't available yet.

come on VZW throw us a bone...... or just a phone

I did pay extra for next-day. They gave me the option of free two-day or pay for priority next-day. Of course I payed for next-day. I would have demanded next-day anyway had they not offered it to me. :p

I really hope that's true. That's the same message I had with the back-ordered Incredible, though. I had to place my second order through CS and he told me I should have tracking info by 5:00 p.m. That's in eight minutes. LOL!
 
Mine status literally just changed in the last 5minutes (I'm a little OCD)

"Order Status: Your order has been processed and will be shipped based on inventory availability and shipping method. You will receive shipment notification and tracking details via email."
 
cool mine changed from being processed to processed, shipping according to inventory bla bla bla. hope i get an email soon.
 
Ordered mine over the phone this afternoon for overnight delivery at about 1:45 CST and had an email with a tracking number by 2:15!! I paid the 2 year upgrade price instead of billing it to my account. They even bumped up my annual upgrade by 15 days without even mentioning it. Can't wait to finally see one of these in person!

interesting.. yes so cal. east los angeles here. maybe they wanna make sure the overnight is gonna happen for the east coast hence the shipping first for them. then were last since they can literally ship at night and we'll still get it on time.

lets just hope they dont take all the phones tho.. haha. ;)

I ordered mine around 12:15am last night, just got a tracking number in my email. Will arrive Monday via the free 2 day shipping option.
 
I ordered mine at 1:37am and as many of you, still have a "being processed" order details. I'm in the Midwest, not east or west coast.
 
I'm pretty sure Verizon messed up on the first come first serve when purchasing online. It seems like the people who bought them right after midnight are the ones who are not getting tracking information. If thats true, WOW!! BS for sure!!
