Help ***Official*** Status of your Droid X order thread

Got up at 6am placed my order just to be safe then went to the store @ 8am and waited and had it in my hand was told ur SOL u have a tracking number<<<<<<<< never sent L walked out PISSY grrrrr then called VZW and fussed was told it
 
Anyone with Sales Location - W233601 Has your phone shipped ? and is that location Ontario,CA? I have a tracking number but still hasn't been picked up so not sure if it's coming from Ontario.
 
Just ordered mine! Sadly i will have to wait an excruciating amount of time...but hey, i'm part of the family! :D Glad to leave my curve 8330.

Was ready to go last night and I could not get the page to come up so I quit at 12:30. Today I went the VZW store near work at lunch...sold out. The guy told me there store and the main store 10 miles away have huge backlogs. I tried Walmart next door just to see. Sweet they have 2 phones, but my contract is not up until Sept and she said it could not be done by them only verizon! Damn it.
Back to the office, put in an order arround 12:40pm eastern online, came home and I have shipping confirmation in my inbox will be here by 3 friday.

Happy I'm getting it, but pissed about all the process and "line jumping".
 
Just received my tracking number.Will be delivered by 4:30 tomorrow.:D I was really getting worried.i did not receive the email until 8:15 tonight.

Congrats rmcf, at least you knew you were going to have to wait. How do you think those of us who ordered in the dark of night only to have it become dark again and still have no clue if we are getting our phone or not tomorrow.

Status: Suicidal... OK depressed
 
9:30a: Placed order today at Verizon website (Eastern)
7:50p: "Shipped" notice received
9:05p: Checked FedEx site ~ Picked up by FedEx @ 6:15p (Memphis TN / Central)
.......... 6:55p ~ arrived at (2d) FedEx facility; in transit

I'm in NC.

So I called and they told me it's backordered for a week! :mad:

Good news is I looked around the web and got the deal on Wirefly for even less plus the bing cash back ($179-$50=$129 :eek:)....no brainer! So I wait a few days for delivery. VZW was making me wait a week anyway!

Now I need to tell VZW to cancel their order, or I'll just refuse it altogether if they don't let me.

I m in the boro and ordered at 12:02am and still no shipping update. This is really BS. If it takes till the 23rd i may just refuse it and let them take that shit back
 
i ordered mine @ 5:30 am EST....FedEx picked it up around 1 pm....got a tracking number 2 pm...will be here 2morrow! and i got it for only $107!

That is messed up! I'm sorry to hear that. I finally got my tracking notice, but I learned today that Verizon is completely out of control with how they fill orders placed for their phones on release day. Folks that ordered after noon today had tracking information within an hour. Yet I had to worry and upset myself that I wouldn't get my phone on Friday after staying up until 1:00 a.m. to place my order last night. It was after 6:00 p.m. before I got my email with my tracking information.

I sincerely hate it for you. That is not right at all.
 
Man this is so messed up. I have to fing work tomorrow and need the tracking number to put on the letter to sign for the fed ex to leave the package if it even comes. Hell this way it may just show up and i still wont be able to get it. This really sucks the way they are handling this. I mean i ordered at 12:02 this morning.WTF
 
Well H@##! Just spoke to a CSR to find out where in the world my tracking number is since I received an order confirmation at 12:06 am CST. He said that I would have to speak to the internet sales department which is of course closed until tomorrow morning at 8:00. This is so ridiculous!!!!! He said the other department would generate a new tracking number. WTF??? I don't want a new tracking number...just a phone!

heres a TN guy pulling for yall. I hope you get them numbers tonight...and them phones tomorrow.


as you know about 4 hours I called them and was able to get a tracking number....here is my time line

logged in at 11;52pm saw x on page.
got through the order process at 11:57 pm cst.
order email at 12:02am
order processed email at 7:57 AM.
called at 4:45 pm and got tracking number.
at 8:02 I got the offical email tracking info.

Get out! What, did they all up and walk out? :eek: It seems like they really don't have any sort of system in place. You'd think orders would go out based on actual order number.

yeah i know lol. I am still trying to figure out what holiday it is lol. Its 8:50 here so guess i wont be getting my email tonight or phone tomorrow

Yeah sorry to hear about that. I decided to go in to play with the phone instead of ordering it right away. I knew i would like it. But i just wanted confirmation. :p So as a consequence...i think i may have missed my window of an earlier shipment...
