Lucky you! I didn't have a contract with Verizon, so i had to order it from the verizon store. I bought it on July 12th and was told that it will be shipped on August 9th, not sure what the date is now since htc is catching up.

didnt use wirefly or any other place because i can't get the 99 dollar upgrade price
besides now with my two credits the phone is basically free so its just a waiting game

about a week and a half after ordering in store, i wanted to go through amazon because people had said that they ordered july 5th and got it july 6th. I asked mother since she's the primary and it was a no go because she didn't want her social on the website. i should hopefully have mine this week 
I was gonna order from wirefly or amazon cuz they readily had them stocked but didn't cuz i would have to pay the penalty for activating the phone a diff line (i used another family members upgrade). I still got the phone for 150 though which I am happy about. The waiting game is almost over though

I did. Having it sent to my home office.
that's the expected ship date. They are ~5 days ahead of schedule right now.

That date should be right. Seems like HTC has been catching up, people have even been receiving their phones a day or two before the expected shipping date. But those are people who ordered in early June. Right now it should be on track.
I'm a 6/24 and will have mine Monday. SO add 2 days to that and you should be pretty close.

That's good news! Although I know all 6/24's haven't gone out yet (or 6/23's, or 6/22's.. haha) I'm leaving Friday morning for vacation (Wyoming.. don't ask) so I'm hoping to get it before then!

Yeah that sucks. But maybe the authorized dealer only got 20 a few weeks ago, and just wasn't selling them because of their bitch antics?

Ordered my phone on 6/24.
Just called *611 and was told my phone is in transit to be delivered on 7/20.
Didn't receive email conformation. But I ordered in the store. I guess that is normal?

Yeah I think most of the people receiving email notifications are those who ordered online. When you called, did you hear it after the talk about the droid x? or did you talk to someone?
It comes after the droid x message if there is one. If not it comes after the language selection and before the regular menu.

Damn, there was an unusually long pause after the droid x sentence and main menu. maybe monday! haha

No, I talked to someone. There was a recorded message for people that interested in purchasing a droid x. It was directing them to order it via their website.
Yes, though in retrospect, I couldn't keep both lest I get charged 350. More money I don't have.
My x is as quick as any incredible I've used. Aside from the class 2 sd card that came with I have no problems with it.
