can anyone tell me what settings widget that he is using under his clock widget is??

I'm not great with the terminology, but I had a similar problem. you need to correctly copy your java bin "path" to your system path.

First you need to find you find your java bin path. go to my computer>C:>Program Files(or Program Files(x86) or program files (x86)(x86))>java>jre6>bin. Now copy whatever is in the address bar at the top of the window.
next go to system properties and select environment variables from the advanced tab. from there you just select and double click on the path variable from the top box and paste the jave bin directory to the end of you system path.

If you've done all this correctly, you shouldn't have any problems.

Ok I followed these instructions. I installed the SDK earlier, set my phone on debug and opened the ddms. The ddms came up just fine but nothing is there. Like my phone is not there for me to select and grab the screenshot??

do you have your phone set to "Charge Only" ? If you mount your SD card, your computer will not see your phone.

I tried it both ways. I even followed video tutorials on youtube to make sure I was doing it correctly. lol I've given up hope, just wasnt meant to be!

one last thing to try, if you haven't already. When you installed the SDK did you select the USB drivers as well? that would be the last and final thing I can think of. Otherwise somebody with more knowledge than I would have to step in

Running Froyo (23) with LauncherPro. Trying to keep it simple with a single homescreen and the slick scrolling bottom dock with my 10 top apps. Pure Music Widget for the tunes, the wallpaper...um... I forget :)

I set it up with the 2 empty screens so I could have some widgets, but haven't found any decent widgets that would be of any use. Kinda wish I had the HTC MMS widget...

I wanted to know if anyone who rooted went through the trouble of changing their system font. I'm a big fan of helvetica and am wondering how it would look...

That would look pretty sweet, im thinking of changing mine to the droid/eclair font

What lock screen are you using?

And what widget (second image) has all the little toggles at the top?

Thanks!
Android 2.0 Clear Vanilla Rotary Lockscreen (MetaMorph) by JsChiSurf (he's on Hero CDMA forums on xda)

Widget is SwitchPro Widget from the market.

I'm currently running Dustismo Roman font. I haven't tried Helvetica so I'm not sure how it would look. I've tried several fonts and some are way to wide- it's a trial and error process.

I'll give it a shot. Is it your standard adb push to system/fonts?
