Root FRG01B leaked 7/20 - newest Froyo Droid build available

I'm just hopiong that they have fixed the issue with exchange servers that require certificates.. I have really missed being able to get my work email on my phone. I am setting it up right now to check, otherwise, going back to CM6... If I can't get my work email - i can at least have all the cool toys.
 
Sigh, Still can't connect to an exchange server that requires a certificate.. Hopefully google gets that taken care of.
 
Silkchaos, I had that problem at first. What I did to fix it was use the browser and log into the OWA site. Click accept certificates, it installed it on my phone and then the mail program worked perfectly. I've never had a problem since.

pretty much nothing....BTW there's a deodexed version at the link above in this post as well now.

My phone wont even let me reboot into recovery...tried rom manager and the pressing x method..Neither work..Any suggestions!?
 
Go into rom manager and set the erase recovery setting.

Then flash sp recovery (alternate recovery) and then flash the current clockwork recovery.

That should fix it, known issue on froyo roms.

Thanks for pointing that out...not sure how I missed his post, I looked for FRG01 threads before posting. Now I feel like a low-life dupe-poster. :(

that's quite harsh. in my opinion the deodexed version is more useful anyway ;(

LOL! Nothing low-life about the head's up for a fully deodexed version. Thanks! :)

(I don't post a lot, but have been an avid reader since I got my Droid 6 months ago... Day one I rooted and got the wireless tether up and running, and am still lovin' it!)
 
Having trouble here..I installed the files, renamed it update, installed everything, and then was stuck on the red eye boot screen for nearly an hour...Any suggestions on what went wrong or how to fix it so I can have the newest version of froyo!?
