See this is what ticks me off! Im in Ffax county, literally 30 seconds from loudoun! and I ordered mine on the 15th! Nothin from them about tracking or shipment info! I think I may have to try calling.

Yeah, and I guarantee that yours will ship out of the same facility as mine...
 
Ordered mine at local VZW shop on 7/15 (in the afternoon). Missed the FedEx guy on Monday, but was able to pick up at FedEx center Monday night. Might get faster delivery if you can order at a VZW shop.

Yeah Im sure it will. Thats my concern... did something go wrong with my order? did it get "lost in the shuffle" since others status have obviously changed when mine has remained the same.

Grrrrr. I ordered 1.5 hours before you, same warehouse, and no notification.

I'm guessing the "groups" get processed in order (e.g., the 7/23 group then the 7/27 then the 8/3) ... but WITHIN the group there is no ordering. Fingers crossed that mine ships today, otherwise I won't get it until next week.

I wish you well matty032. It sure sounds like you have been through hell and back trying to get your phone ordered and delivered. The problems I've had getting my replacement (it will be here tomorrow) sure pale in comparison to your problems.

I myself am wondering if anyone else in Cali has received their phones. And when did you order your phones as well and if that have your received a tracking number
 
I ordered a replacement Droid X on Sunday 7/21 and I just got an email saying that it has shipped and on its way via Fedex.

I called and he put in the order for me saying that it should ship by the 27th. I'm in Southern California by the way.

None of it makes any sense... Why would yous be scheduled to be a delivered by 4:30 and mine by 7:00? I'm just saying...

Usually only UPS employees get their stuff shipped via UPS.

Yours will probably still ship. I suspect that the CSR doesn't know how to properly research orders and that is the reason why they couldn't find it. They can't cancel an order that can't be found.

VZW doesn't ship phones via Fedex Ground but you may still get it tomorrow. Tomorrow morning check your tracking number, if it says "Out for delivery" then you should get it.

Hmm... That would be cool. If it doesn't come tomorrow, then I'm taking Friday off from work! :) Actually, I guess I'll have to take Friday off either way!
 
Hi everyone. I've been following this thread since it started, lol. I'm (soon-to-be) new to Android . . . so exciting!

I placed my order on Friday, 7/16, around 2:30 P.M. I'm not sure what time my order processed. I think it was 6 or 7 P.M. I called Verizon earlier today and the rep told me to expect my phone to ship by 7/27. Needless to say I was disappointed because I've been waiting to get one since June! (Didn't pre-order because I didn't know that Verizon would move up your NE2.)

To my surprise, I received a shipping notification about 3 hours after I had called Verizon, and my phone will be here tomorrow! You never know, you might be receiving a shipping notice via e-mail soon, too! :D

If it helps, I'm in PA. My Droid is coming from a shipping facility in West Chester, PA. I can't wait to get home from work tomorrow!

Whats an average delivery time people have been experiencing? I know its "any time between 8am and 7pm" But my initial order said "by 3:30pm" and now it has switched to 7pm. I specifically indicated that it is a business address and I really hope its delivered by 5pm.

I have a half day Friday too, looks like I will be the only one there after 12:00 waiting for my Droidx

To update folks on whats going on. I am happy to say that I received a FedEx tracking number from Verizon today (21 July) at 9:24AM. The phone is in the hands of FedEx now and will be in my hands hopefully tomorrow...at least that the "Estimated delivery: Jul 22, 2010 by 3:00 PM"

Must admit that I am looking forward to getting this device, adding a number of applications to it including AnkiDroid - Anki Wiki for studying Chinese using the Droid X. Will have to see about fonts and even a simplified Chinese IME.
