That, my friend, is a MUST HAVE app imo. It's an anti-virus/backup/phone finder app. It scans every app that you download or install for spyware, etc, and runs in the background like an anti-virus app on your computer would. Highly rated.

I manually changed each one. I used pictures that were on my computer, moved them via usb to my phone, and added/cropped them through the contacts app.
Well that would work but my contacts already have linked pics from their accounts like FB, etc...and they still don't show up in the LPP People widget...hmmm...

Pretty sure the widget only displays pictures if it's linked to your Gmail account.

+1 on that, I started using Folderorganizer and my screens look totally different now from the pics above haha...
You can still change overwrite the linked pic. Go to contacts > pick someone > click menu button > edit > click their picture. It will give you the option to Take photo or Use existing photo. Once you change it, hit the little refresh button at the bottom of the LPP widget and it will update it.
I used the custom icon tut. mentioned above. Here is what I have so far. I still have a couple of screens to go, and a lot of icons to work on...
Where'd you get the "to do" widget? I like that; it would come in handy.

Fab, not true. I only set up a Gmail account when I knew I was getting the X. Don't use it for anything.
just4747, at the very bottom of the strip, there is a refresh button. Try that. Also, go to the settings for it and it asks who you want to display. Mine is my favorites. Good luck.

So you set the pictures to your contacts from your phone, right?
What if you go to Gmail.com and view your contacts? Do they all have the picture now?
I was under the impression that it would sync that way, which is what I meant when I said the widget would only show pictures of contacts that are linked to your Google account.

Yes, they were set from my phone. My gmail account has no contacts set up yet.

Oh, wow. If that's the case, I would go into Settings->Accounts->your Gmail account and check sync contacts.
It's really nice to have a copy in the cloud, in case anything goes wrong, or you have to reset your phone, as soon as you sign in, all you contacts are back.

I think you're talking about, Menu Button > Preferences > Appearance Settings > Dock background > Glass.
I press the "Back" physical button on my Droid X, next to the Home button. That backs me out of text boxes when I'm using Swype at least.
Don't know the answer to your first question.
