Does it really matter? They re-used my SD card & battery, & it does look new,
but I'm not really a fan of anything "refurbished"....![]()
My hardware version is 003. It says reconditioned on 7/27/10. Not a big deal I guess, as long as it works..... My speakerphone was bad on my original, that's why they got me this one.
If it works well and corrected the problem AND looks new....who cares!

##786# scroll down to reconditioned status If it says <not available> its new and not a refurb. By law if its a refurb it must be branded as one along with the date the refurb took place.
Did you get it replaced with the Sprint or Best Buy insurance? I ask because I had heard Best Buy's black tie insurance would replace the phone with a new one (not refurbed) if they can't fix it.
Hard to tell at this point. Sometimes refurbs can be better/as good as a new device...
And sometimes they can be headaches.
I had many issues with refurb'd Palm Pre's but I have not experienced anything like that with other refurbished phoones.

there is nothing wrong with a referb
Ive been buying refurb stuff online for 10 years or more now, I "personally" have never had a problem with anything refurbished. Granted Ive been buying from most the same companies and pay attention to some places that have "refurb grades" for quality.
