[Official] What Changes Have You Noticed After Updating to 2.2 (Froyo)?

Ok, a couple of notes from me.
In privacy, we not have "back up my data". What exactly is that and where does the data go?
One minor annoyance now. In the app locker screen, if you exit it and then go back to it, up throws you up to the top of the list. Previously, it put you right back where you were. The new way is a negative in my opinion.
Don't forget to get voice search in the market after the update too.

Doesn't do that here, but I have been using Launcher Pro.....it still works the same as 2.1 for me.

In the list of running apps there is now "Cloud to Device messaging" and "Google messaging service". I found out that is working already. I have background data off when my phone is not plugged in to save data. Now when I get a new gmail I get a notification, then I just have to go into my gmail app and hit refresh to download the email. Really nice.
Also in the running apps at the bottom where it shows free memory instead of just being on a black bar it is now red, yellow, and green; I'm sure this is to represent memory being used and free, don't know what the 3rd color is.

Also when I was freezing my bloatware I noticed that Verizon Navigator is preinstalled, that wasn't on 2.1 was it?

VZW Navigator is new, yes.
Pretty sure it was, I saw it a few times, but I think it was just called "Navigator".

I didn't see anything other than the 3g mobile hotspot you have to pay for, but I kept root and wireless tether for root still works.

Haven't got a call yet but I noticed the notifications are MUCH louder. Media is playing louder now also.

My exchange setup finally works! I dont have to use touchdown anymore even though I just got my license for it.

Seems ALOT louder for notifications, haven't got a call yet but some others are reporting louder ringer. Also media plays louder

Its very annoying that you cant turn off the swipe to unlock and just use the pattern lock like with 2.1.
And voice search cant use handcent to send texts.

It seems that swipe to unlock and the lock code (pattern, numbers) are linked now.

One minor thing, MotoTorch LED no longer lights up the LEDs. Already emailed the developer, he emailed me back and said he would work on it.

When i double click a post on these forums to zoom and text wrap using the dolphin hd browser, I don't have to scroll left anymore to find the posts. Had the same problem with the stock browser.

I think this is the one issue that has royally POd the folks @ the moto support forums.
I wonder how long it will take them to remove a post about the leak over there. I'd sign up but you have to have a Moto phone and MEID.
