Official 2.2 Froyo OTA thread

My blur widgets are showing my friends avatars having large and blurry pictures.. How ironic.. I appreciate the effort and hard work in this 2.2 update but it seems like a hack job or a rom. Anyone else having this problem and know a fix?

The key is to resize them back to their "original" size, and then expand them back to where you had them before. Should fix it.

I just rooted and updated to 2.2. So far so good!

Best part about the update is the keyboard changes. The period is smaller. I.used.to.type.everything.like.this before.

I'm rooted and once I removed all the ClockworkMod Recovery files everything worked great!

Did the update...now can't get into the market. One phone worked fine, the other did not. It will also not allow me to re-run the update.

Anyone else having trouble finding MLB At Bat 2010 in the Market? I updated to 2.2 but didn't use Titanium Backup for all of my apps. I use this app daily and would like to know if there is a way to get this installed again.

This type of problem is caused by Launcher Pro Plus. I assume the OP is running stock. If he is running LPP then this has nothing to do with 2.2.

I also did the update& so far so good. try doing a battery pull and leave the battery out for about a minute then reboot.

I had never rooted and it worked just fine..I got stuck at the moto screen but all I had to do was pull the battery and leave it out for a min. then reboot..does anybody know if a factory data reset will he'll with lagging?

so far I don't see any that can be transferred. idk if I just don't have any that can or what? can some one tell me an app that can be moved to sd so I could try it out.

Yes its Lpp app and it stays after you resize them until you reboot the phone, then you must resize again. The developer is aware of this on the lp forum.

I got 1203 and was just under the nexus one 2.2. How can I speed that up? Also can I root using androot and setcpu with 2.2?

I froze it with Titanium Backup, no problems.

ADW works fine in mine. Do a factory reset, and start over.

Well I managed 1470. I want to make it faster though, I know it can do it. So can I use universal androot and setcpu on my 2.2.

I never rooted and updated to 2.2 in less than 5 minutes with no hiccups. Loving 2.2!
