Mine finally shipped too from Memphis, TN. I have two day shipping will receive it on the 25th. My first Android phone, finally got freed from my Storm. Can't wait. Now, I just have to decide what accessories to get.

Congrats :) I think we'd all recommend the SPG Steinheil Ultra Crystal Screen Protector. Shipping is quick and the price isn't too bad. Cases... IMO people are really divided on good cases.

And

I can genuinely appreciate being impatient waiting for your phone to arrive because I waited impatiently myself. But I don't see a SINGLE post made by someone who didn't have their phone shipped by the date Verizon told them it would ship by.

When I order the web page had a star on the phone that said ships by 8/18/10. It is being delivered today. It's 8/23/10, that's a few days AFTER 8/18/10

I'm 99% sure I could snivel and get a $25 gift card but I understand the site just hadn't been refreshed or been updated. I'm not going to snivel. Stuff happens.

I have enjoyed having other people as excited to get the phone as me and it's been easier to deal with the wait ranting with people who understand.

Kind of getting tired of defending the thread though.

I hope you get your phone Quint and all the others who are still waiting.

Verizon CS are a bunch of morons I swear.

And I have just hit the 10 day mark. So let's pray I get an email.
Ordered the 13th around 10am. It's the 23rd today....

I hate waiting, and having $210 out of my account that I could be using on something else :(

Ordered mine in the 19th....if these past 2 days are any indication on how I deal with this long period of time then I am not looking forward to it. What made it worse for me is that me and my family were on a family plan at Tmobile and for my birthday I wanted to switch and get the X so they told me to get all the info and I did. Well they all decided they wanted to switch so Friday everyone got a brand new phone on Verizon and Im stuck with a BB on Tmobile! Sigh hopefully I dont have to wait till 9/7
 
When I go to the order status page on Verizon's website and type in my information, it still says
"We are experiencing technical difficulties, please check back later."

WTF?!?! This is so frustrating.

I placed mine on the 11th at 1pm over the phone. I am in Ohio. It looks like most of the Memphis DC orders are shipping out today that were placed on or before the 12th.

...ordered from corporate store in PA 08/09/10 and was told it would ship on 8/26, just got a tracking #, says it will be in my hands no later than 7pm on 8/25/10 !!!!

Oh man! Tracking email received 12:25 pm! Will be here Wed. Shipping from Memphis. Holy crap is this a relief, lol! It has been tense and I've had a bad week as it is so this is great. Of course with the way my luck has been it'll have a stuck pixel or something, Goddess forbid!!! Good luck to those still waiting, I know it sounds trite on a silly web forum but it really has been a big help being able to commiserate with you guys, misery does indeed love company, lol!
 
Ordered mine on the 13th. Got the email 30 minutes ago.
Louisville,KY in-store is where I ordered mine. Overnight shipping from Memphis. 10 day mark exactly today.

Now I don't worry anymore. Now I just need a screen protector, and case.

CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Ordered 3 Droid X's and an Incredible on the 17th over the phone. Incredible was here by the 19th (of kourse). Suppose to get the X's by the 31st. Any chance they'll be here sooner? I'm in Arkansas
