In my experience, Central Jersey is any town north of Cape May, and any town south of Mahwah, as apparently nobody wants to be called North Jersey or South Jersey anymore. I've seen people from Garfield saying they are Central Jersey.
Well its been on & off here in East LA & full blown in Alhambra for the last 2 weeks. So testing has begun & hope Sprint's on time for the 4G roll out.
Read elsewhere that people were getting a signal downtown. I went to investigate and picked it up going down broad street from the 71 ramp to COSI. I'm excited!!!
I live near South Coast Plaza and there is 4G in that area. I get 2-3 bars of 4G when I am at home.
still none in long beach, ca
Huh???? Cape May County is at the bottom of the state. Usually, anything above Toms River and Barneget is considered central Jersey. I live in Egg Harbor Township which is 5 minutes from Atlantic City and this is DEFINITELY considered South Jersey. Heck, even Camden is considered South Jersey...
I drove to Cherry Hill a few weeks ago and I got a GREAT 4G signal while near Wegman's. I didn't get a signal as I passed Deptford but then again I was traveling around 80mph so it might have blipped on and off...
I wish they would hurry up and put up a tower near Atlantic City so I can get a signal...

I downloaded Sensorly, but I didn't mark 4G spots I drove through?
You don't need to do anything special for the data to be sent to Sensorly. If you are looking at the map on your screen you will also be sending data. The "Map in Background" option also also keeps you sending data while on other applications.
What I do, since 4g is limited, is to leave it off at home to save battery. When I am going to be driving around, particularly a longer ride across town, is to turn on GPS and 4G, activate Sensorly and put on "Map in Background" mode. Usually I switch these back upon arriving a my destination. This allows data to be collected when they will make a meaningful contribution to the map.
As of this morning, no coverage is shown yet in South Florida, but it can take a day or two for them to compile everyone's data. If many of us use it, however, we should start getting a good visual indication of the progress of 4G construction.
