What price did everyone pay for their X?

Curious what everybody paid for their X? On our family plan, I was eligible for a 12month upgrade. The price I was quoted over the phone was $199 after a $100 mail in rebate. I thought I heard others paying less?
 
i was eligible for upgrade and got a 1 year contract so the total was $400 with a $100 mail in rebate. if anyone paid less then they were the primary number on the account and were elgible for the New Every 2 which typically takes another $100 off.
 
I paid 199.00, less the $50 additional rebate releasing the 26th of August (shhhh, its a secret right now), then my 15% Military discount for a grand total of 125ish.

Just ordered today, coming from the Droid 1 - Im very excited!!
 
99 Dollars. Bought online with the instant 100 dollar discount and then used my new every two 100 dollar discount.

same here, I paid 99 the same way. online discount and 100 NE2 discount. worked out well cause I also ordered screens, case, and desk dock w/hdmi cable so I paid around 200 for the phone with my accessories

hows you get the mil discount? I used my mil id but mine still came to 197 (w/ tax)
and i used a 30$ off code.

(ordered online)
 
I paid $99. $199 after rebate, plus a $50 discount that Verizon was running, plus I schmoozed the guy into taking another $50 off because I was switching from AT&T.

Wait wait wait, my "NE2" upgrade has been up for a few months and it's only $50.. How did you get $100? Granted i've only had the plan for about 3 years or so..

Some of us longtimers are grandfathered in. Hundred bucks here too, but I'm waiting on the mail in rebate since I stood in line on launch day.

That might explain why my mother gets a 100bucks and i only get 50, she has had her plan for many many years.
 
I was eligible for an upgrade on one of my lines, so I paid $199.99 plus $47.02 in tax. I ordered mine online, so there were no mail-in rebates to deal with.
 
$229 new customer using my company discount for a 1 year contract. Bummer was I needed to put down $400 for the deposit :(

Grand total $647. At this point I would have paid anything to get away from T-Mobile. Atleast I will get the $400 back if I keep everything on the up and up.

47 dollars in taxes?what state do you live in? I don't know of any state or muni that charges a near 25 percent tax rate. I hope that was a typo or mis read!

In California, you are charged tax on the full retail price of the phone, not the discounted price. I understand NYC is another place that does that.

Californians have to pay sales tax on the full retail price...no matter what they pay.:eek:

So how did you manage to get the $50 rebate that hasn't released? Did you order in store and they were able to apply it early?
 
Just ordered my X today, completely OFF contract. Grand total........$605.00
I get my $100 rebate, and of course I have to wait 2 weeks, but I'll get it, that's all that matters. Passing on my 2 month old Droid to a fellow VZW member who REALLY needs it to replace her Storm.
 
Bought two from Amazon back on Aug 3rd. $169 each and $30 data plan credit (x2) and $5 in free MP3s (X2). Had them in hand two days later.

I had first attempted to buy from NewEgg/Simplexity. Advertised as in-stock and ready to ship at $175 + $30 credit. I placed the order and 2 hours later got an email that the item was backordered for 5-7 days.

I cancelled that order because Letstalk.com also said in stock, ready to ship at $149. I placed the order and immediately got an email that the item was backordered with an estimated one week ship date. I discovered the Amazon listing and cancelled Letstalk.

Even after the out of stock email NewEgg/Simplexity/Wirefly still advertised it as in stock and ready to ship for three more days. I can say I will never do a cell purchase with Simplexity/Wirefly or Letstalk. They burned that bridge with the false advertising.
 
Paid $500 from some dude..I had early upgraded to the Dinc so no $199 for me...what a mistake! I had to have one so I bought it.
