ADW Launcher, and then go into themes and download the droidx theme Ive already did that to my wifes phone

This is 928droid theme applied in full with metamorph on Tridents Velocity ROM, a release of this rom (should be) available through ClockWorkMod Rom Manger soon.

No idea why its taking so long mine took about 20min, I guess just quit and re-do it

Try hooking up your usb cable and turning on usb debugging, its a bug with metamorph.

I've been trying this on my deodexed ROM on my LG Shine Plus (Canadian Ally), and I when I get to the framework application, the install just loops endlessly and never actually installs...

Enable USB debugging and use keep awake.
