Root 2.2 ruu md5

I downloaded the 2.2 RUU and extracted the Rom.zip in an effort to create a PB31IMG system image for hboot downgrade to the "new" stock setup (post OTA).

When I attempt to extract the zip on my desktop, I get an error for an invalid or corrupted zip? As a second effort, I then downloaded just the Rom.zip posted in the original 2.2 RUU thread from XDA and it's the exact same file size but it yields the same errors on my PC.

So I'm wondering:

1.) Anybody have the MD5 for the RUU?

2.) Is the corruption error due to there being no Windows recognizable files in the zip or is there actually a problem?

I'm showing MD5:

27d47f1364624594e270ccb741a2a1e0

I just extracted the rom.zip from the 2.2 RUU and the MD5 is: 784D7D55D987ED5AFA7B10A30B402FB4

Thanks man. Pretty sure that's what I had but now I'm at work. I'll verify when I get home. You have any plans to try it or just getting it ready just in case? I'd like to get a verified working PB31IMG posted up with new instructions for those who want to return their phones.

As far as I'm concerned, there's no reason to go back to 2.1 anymore, we can return phones with 2.2.
