Will the EVO 4G get the "NEW" HTC Sense?

has anyone heard any news that we will be getting the new htc sense ?! man i sure hope so .. just got done watching a video on it .. seems pretty cool ! and the new htcsense.com site should come in handy to !
 
I was wondering about news on this too....I had read about it but heard nothing more on when/if we were getting it. I'll watch that video now
 
That was one of the best demo's/presentations I've ever seen. Can't believe I watched that entire video. Actually, I guess I can.
 
When does HTCsense.com go public? I just tried it and it asked me for a password and user login.
 
Looks awesome. I would not be surprised if we don't get it though. Might be something used to sell the newer phone models rather than something to satisfy owners of older handsets.

Don't we already have much of that on our phone now? I am kind of confused. Is this sort of like HTC sense second generation or something?
 
From what I gathered on the Video link, the "new" HTC Sense will be released on Windows 7 Mobile platform first. I'm sure it will come to Android soon. Hopefully it would come to our HTC Evo too. :)

The only thing I think we currently have is the ringing modes (as in flip to silence and the ring volume decreasing when you pick up the phone). I think everything else is new (I really like the remote stuff and the non-invasive incoming call alert).
 
i watched the entire video and now i have a woody. good god. if Evo gets this version of sense, then cyanogen team might as well throw in the towel

if im not mistaken arent both the phones shown in the video Android, runnning the new htc sense ? If so .. looks like android gets the new sense first.

I think you're correct. I think he was just saying something about their upcoming Windows devices and not the two phones being showcased. I stand corrected on that one. :)
 
Too bad the hardware is crap.

Think of the company logic:

Press conference with employees that clearly learned English as a second language.
Continual design flaws that reoccur in new models.

I hate Apple, but they seem to be the only company that can make nice smartphone hardware.

The Desire HD is what the Evo should have been...but the camera is still jacked up.
