It's never available online from Sprint or Best Buy?
Is it selling that well, are they not making enough, or have they just stopped selling the darn thing?

why would sprint stop selling their hottest selling phone? In either case its being sold still just selling out quickly. HTC and sprint are both still in shock on the demand as is eveyone else.

I went by my local sprint store the other day and even the display model was gone, i'm wondering are they making the switch to the slcd screens or what?

stop that.. you are a troll..

It is more like.. at least 15 to 20 per day!
:p

im not a troll, im just a somewhat impatient advantage club member who has been waiting for close to 4 months for an evo with no definitive end in sight :p

In other words, im just bitter :D

How can sprint be shocked at how well the evo is selling when there are two or three commercials. And take into account also that some evos were manufactured incorrectly or people had problems with them in one way shape or form and they had to be replaced.

You have to keep checking the website. Thats how I got mine. The Evo was sold out for over a month then in begining of Sept I was able to order one.

Same. You can find them if you travel a bit. Find a small town inhabited mostly by old people :P There's one within 20 miles of me that has 4-5 of them.

I never really checked if my local Sprint store has any available... either way on eBay those things sell quick, whenever I look they just have one for sale and the bid usually ends within 2mins...lol, smh

I'm always shocked at ppl posting about shortages of these phns. There hasnt been a shortage in my area at all. Kinda makes sense too, as i have yet to run into anyone else locally that owns an Evo. Hell, even the iPhone4 was easily available when it came out around here. Maybe my area just isn't into these "electronic gizmos" as much lol

your avatar rocks.
(in case it changes, it was an animated gif of an 8-bit metroid)

on topic:
The Evos are being shipped to areas where demand is highest. You can get one here in Boston if you want one.

I called 5 stores here in suburban Maryland and only 1 had any in stock. In my travels I have seen several folks with EVOs. Not as many as have iPhones but that's to be expected.
