100% instructions/howto are already here:

Lol I gave them a link to how to enter recovery. I'm lazy![]()
It's like this is a battle for best instructions, this one was first, and is good enough, if you can't follow this then research for what you need to know.
Yeah not sure why we need 2 threads. But whatever.
name it "update" not "update.zip"
Didn't work. I'm pretty sure it needs to be update.zip.
Redownloaded, still getting the same error. Grr.

Well, I downloaded the file, renamed it to update.zip.
And when I tried to install it, it still messes up! It gives me some error. I just don't understand!
The thing i dont understand is this,
All the files contained in the Zip file are time stamped 5/4/2009, Very Odd.![]()
Important point that needs to be added to the top post in threads about this - you need to have file extensions showing when you rename the file, otherwise you effectively name the file update.zip.zip and that's what causes the error mentioned above. When extensions aren't on, it assumes that anything you type in for the file name should go before the extension. Both Windows and OSX have options for this in Explorer and Finder respectively.
