Root Reflash a rom to theme

I'm running rubix focused .5 and bgx theme. I wanted to try out a new theme tho and saw that sometimes installing a theme over another leaves traces of the old and bgx seems like a deep theme. Would I be able to flash rubix again, like the first time,to get to a stock Rom and install the theme from there?

yes

Well that was an epic fail. I flashed it to a T and when it booted, sure enough bgx was there. And when I went to the market to get ti backup, the market would fc everytime I choose install. But only for ti backup.

If your theme was still there something didn't go right with the rom flash. Did you mount /system before flashing the rom?

Yep I got it. Thanks for the help. Got any themes to suggest. I've tried nextheme and bgx. I was thinking of trying invernito.

I actually havent used a theme since before I got my DX. I prefer the stock look. Stock blur is close enough to the stock android theme for me to not want to go to the effort of changing it.

I'm planning on keeping this theme/ Rom setup until obsidian comes out then I think I'll flash that and stay with stock Android. Bgx was really nice but it just seemed way overboard with the Droid eye thing.
