if you are gonna load fabs rc2 just wait cause when you flash it you will be deodexed as the rom is already.

Yeah I thought of that but I'm going to get a good base nandroid that I can always use as a starting place. I also deodexed it myself for the first time so I learned a little something and that's always good. A good side benefit of deodexing yourself is you can pull all the system apps to your hd in case you need them at a later date. Very handy!
BTw it didn't fix my Appbrain problems so I'm wondering if it's just me or do all X'ers have fastweb download disabled? Anyone use appbrain with fastweb download let me know if yours works please. I know they disabled it for a while but I don't get the message any longer however the Fastweb option on the site says unavailable. I'm wondering if its disabled or just my phone

No not really but haven't used it much. I really did it in the hopes it would straighten out a few small problems I was having but so far it doesn't seem to have fixed one problem and can't tell about the others until I have updates in the market.
But I'm not where I can accept OTA fixes if need be, although I'll always wait to make sure they don't break recovery or root before accepting any any update.

Same here. Just finished flashing, factory reset in progress now. Then root and wait for RC2.
I will be ok whenever it is released today, I'm going out tomorrow morning.

It's just the way the camcorder is. When you are recording, the display framerate is really low, but when you playback, it should be 24fps, which is quite smooth.
Not sure if this is a software issue or a hardware limitation, but I'm willing to sacrifice the display framerate for the playback framerate to be smooth.

I formatted only system (and cache for good measure), mounted system, flashed RC2 and rebooted. Then reapplied NexTheme_ApeX, and all seems to be well. All my settings appear to be retained, including LPP and WidgerLocker. Awsome.
