Not sure why our what I'm doing wrong. Could a new kernel help things? Here are my settings.

when you press on android system it will give you some info and then a list of apps down below? what is the first thing listed?

Are you leaving wifi on? Not sure if that is what network location is but that's your top system user. What all did you do within that hour?

Had wifi on for maybe 10 minutes before I took that screen shot. Android system is always high above 50%.

Charge the battery fully and run a 12hr test...change nothing. Use it how you normally would...and then send me or post those same screens please

I have a feeling that hardware acceleration gets clocked against android system and not the app itself. The app might be taking up almost zero CPU time, but a heluvalot of your gpu time. I can run stuff like Angry Birds and it does not even appear on the list, meanwhile its draining like 20+% per hr.

See that's the thing....I am overclocked with no noticeble excessive battery drain or abnormal android system readings .... I also play through 20 or so levels of angry birds with no noticeable drain.

i flashed the same rom and kernel, and am about to dump both... will post numbers after full charge, but even my phone idle is showing 30% drain, cell standby 35%,, as bad as my pre right now..
