Root Windows phone 7

Just saw a new video of windows phone 7. Looks pretty interesting. Any future (much later) hopes of getting that flashed on the evo? Or should I just be happy with android?

i doubt it will happen cause when microsoft finds out they wont be to happy and the dev would probably end up in some type of trouble or they would tell him to stop developing it.

just my guess though.

Seriously now.
LG and Samsung powered by W7 is nice, but real kicker is HTC. If their Windows7 based models sell, Microsoft has a chance.

Having already had the pleasure of owning several WM phones, there's no way I'm allowing any MS code near my phone again. I know that the tech media is gushing (too much?) about the new interface, but I don't get that butt ugly "home" screen. Maybe I'm just not into side by side rows of garishly colored boxes?

If they get it ported to the HD2 then we might have a chance of seeing it on our Evo's.
