I have been keeping the same general layout because I really like it, but I have tweaked it up a bit now that you can change the grid layout in Launcher Pro Plus. I am using a 5x5 grid now. Thanks to this, I have gotten down to only 4 home screens.
First is the lockscreen, done with Widget Locker. The wallpaper is one that I custom made with Photoshop. The text you see in the middle is actually in elvish, from the Elvish Love Ring (if you are familiar with LotR, this is the "love" version of the One Ring text). I wanted this because when I got married, we used that instead of the usual "with this ring, I thee wed" crap. And yes, we are sorta nerdy

The little care bear in the middle of the lockbar is an icon for the app My Settings.
Second is my Main Home Screen. Beautiful Widgets for the clock/weather. A custom dock icon for Launcher Pro Plus. Battery Life for the battery widget. The pictures are the Picture Frame widget from Gallery, resized to 1x1.
Third Screen is a bunch of my regularly used apps with custom android icons. Their icons are pretty self explanatory. The calendar is Jorte.
Fourth Screen is folders that I made to organize all my apps using Folder Organizer and the android icons. The little smiley faces you see are actually direct dial buttons for the 4 people I call most (the smilies I added because I don't want to plaster people's pictures online without their permission).
Fifth Screen are the widgets for Pandora, Engadget and AudioManager.
