Cases or naked

Case + screen protector. The case doubles as a belt clip, which is perfect for me, and I need an anti-fingerprint protector.

I like the looks and the light weight of the Incredible naked. But it's almost too small to hold. It's definitely not ergonomic because it's so thin.

Currently, my Incredible is rocking the Speck case. It adds a little size and heft which is good and it protects it. I dropped my phone, which I rarely EVER do, and it saved it!

Just went from a clear silicon case to a Seidio Innocase II and it's an amzing case it feels like there is no case at all but gives it a grea ruggedness. It really has made me enjoy my phone a little more .

I bought a pretty, flowery pink case off ebay. I like having the case to protect the phone from drops. I'd rather break a case. I also like to accessorize. :) I also use a screen protector-- I can't even tell it's on there at all, it's crystal clear. I know people say the Inc is scratch resistant, but I've also heard people get scratches on it. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Even though I have insurance on it, I'd rather not go through the hassle.

I have a seidio Innocase II and belt clip and it works great. I like something a little heavier and wider around the phone. Plus, it keeps it protected for the 3-4 times I drop my phone in the course of 2 years. I don't cover the screen though as I tend to baby my phone and I hate phone screen protectors.

always use the gel cases on my phones. the incredible without a case feels a little too small and weird in the hand without one

naked. Dropped it once in a parking lot, luckily landed face up, just a few scuffs on the back cover now, nothing wrong with it. I am usually very careful with my phones.

I love the security of a case, mainly because of the way the camera lens sticks out. If it weren't for that, I'd go naked. Really, there's only two parts of the phone that can get scratched up outside the of camera; the front, which is all glass so you use a screen protector, and the back, which is a solid backplate that costs $15 to replace. Really, I'd rather replace the backplate for $15, than pay $30-$35 for a case that makes the phone ugly and bulky. But as I said, that damn camera...

I just ordered one to replace my Casio Brigade. I'm going naked just because if this lesson I learned from the Brigade. The tougher your phone is, the worse care you take for it. This doesn't apply for everyone, but after smashing my Brigade, I realizied it applies for me. :/

Im using the black to red graident case that verizon offered when the INC was first dropped, which can be had on ebay pretty cheap. there are a ton of custom graphic ones as well. I like the hard case because it recesses the camera lens nicely. My phone is out of the holster quite a bit, and I was worried about denting the housing or damaging the lens...I also have the full body protection and an Ulimate Screen Guard...although to be honest, I prefer the flat finish of the oem battery cover, the full body protection makes it glossy...looses some charachter...I tried a TPU (or Crystal) case, but they seem to absorb dirt and dust...within a week they look filthy and cannot be cleaned at all (tried everything from dish soap to high strength solvants): not highly recommended.

I have no case and no screen shield on my Incredible. I am a bit surprised that no one has yet to mention the fact that your phone's battery temperature will be considerably higher if you have a case on it. During normal to heavy use, my phone's battery temperature runs between 95 and 105 degrees while my wife's phone (also an Incredible, but with the Verizon black-to-red gradient case on it) can approach 120 degrees. Excessive heat is NEVER good for any electronic device, not to mention that it will take a toll on battery life.

A great, free widget that's on the Market is Battery Left. It will provide you with substantially more information than most, if not all, other battery widgets out there.

Nekkid... when I first ordered the dInc, I was all worried and set on getting a case, screen protector, and extended battery. After being a bit lazy, I don't use any of them. Love the size and feel of the contoured back (I can always tell whether the phone is upside down or not in my pocket and provides a little "grip"). After having my 3-year play with it (who knows how to use it more than my wife) regularly, I still don't have any scratches on the screen and have been lucky in the drops. Love the vibrant colors on a non-protected screen. Knowing that it is only a camera lens protector protruding out (and not the lens itself) helps alleviate fear of "scratching" something important. And the battery has settled to pretty decent now that I don't have to worry about enlarging my dInc with a oversized battery cover.

I have, however, lost the silver "h", "t", and "c" stickers from the back over time though I'm liking the indented "htc" now.

It also helps I only have a 1-year contract (knowing I could upgrade in 10 months for a new phone).

naked with nexus pouch and screen protector. I have the OEM extended battery, so I can't do a case even if I wanted to.

Had the Otterbox Commuter, but missed a holster. Made the switch to the Siedio Innocase Rugged Combo pack and LOVE IT! Found is delivered on ebay for $39. This case is stout and provides ultimate protection.

Seidio Innocase Active along with Verizon's anti-glare screen protector. Phone stilll looks brand new.

Do you have "sparkles" on white backgrounds with the Verizon's AGs? It's driving me nuts and just ordered some crystal clear to fix the problem. Love the smoothness of the verizon anti-glare though.. but the can't stand the color distortion.

Nexus One pouch and a Steinheil Crystal screen protector here.

I'd like the phone to last two years and not look like it was dragged around a gravel driveway.
