NFX and force closing

Just recently went to this ROM from fresh 2.4 and I haven't had any of the force close issues like I had with Fresh, but damn this ROM kills my battery.....
 
It is pretty zippy. But still sxeems to be nailing my battery pretty bad. Also, does your have a sprint boot screen? IO thought it was devoid of any sprint branding at all.

This is based off the most recent Sprint release. Sometimes developers put in there own boot up screen so nothing unusual there;)

Have you tried one of nfinites overclock kernels?
 
Yeah, I have tried the 710 and the 768. I wonder if there is something else going on than this ROM. My battery has never been good, but seem to be increasingly worse but this ROM really really sucks it up. I remmeber a while ago, I installed a different radio zip. Would it be worth it to try a differnt radio?

The radio could most definately be the cause.

Have you wiped your battery stats before? Sometimes just resetting your battery stats can give you a better indication of your battery. This is simple but it takes a while to do, but if your battery does not last long, it should not take too long
 
I haven't wiped the battery stats. I will do that this weekend. I did switch radios and while it didn't hwlo the batery at all I so get much better reception which I guess does help the battery when I'm home.

An example of how quick my battery goes: its 4:45 at 4:20 I unplugged my phone with a full charge checked the temp with the weatherchannwl app. Played pandora for one song got a 4 minute phone call and sent two texts. My battery is at 86 %. That sucks.....
