Help Gmail loops at enter characters screen

Before you tell me to search the forums. I already did and I am not having the password update problem that everyone else does. Gmail prompts me to change my password and then takes me to the screen to enter the characters in the picture to confirm that I am a person and not a bot, but it loops at this screen. No matter what I type, it brings up a new picture and prompts me to type it again. Ive tried at least 30 times, something is wrong. Help please.

Have you tried clearing data and cache in manage applications, then rebooting phone?

Yeah, clearing the data and cache is the only reason it gave me the option to re-enter my password. I think i might just have to wipe the phone.

Wiped the phone and installed CM6. I am no longer having any issues.
