Root [ROM] UD 2.3!!! Hot of the presses!

Well in my case I didn't wipe and I have been going just fine. My 3g is still dropping randomly though. And if you just go to menu>settings>ultimate settings>input settings>messaging tab application and just put messaging. Works just fine after that.

I'm rocking a Galaxy S theme so I have a light blue.. looks good!

I'll wait to move to 2.3 once I see the theme I am running ported over. I just did all this work to make my phone look like I wanted now this :(

Why want that theme work on 2.3. I don't think that many changes were made, and I dought that the files would be placed in a different area with 2.3. as was in 2.1. I also loved the Galaxy s theme.
 
is anyone else having problems with scrolling when using LauncherPro?? the screen is acting like it does not know where my finger is when scrolling up/down in menus and the app drawer and when scrolling right/left through home screens. it is jumping around a ton and often selecting the wrong icon.

and yes, i have disabled the 3d app drawer, home screen animations, and all elastic effects.
 
Bluetooth indicator in the statusbar looks like the download indicator while on a call.

Also noticed on incoming calls the answer decline swipe patter is not centered. The answer indicator is off to the left side.

Can anyone else validate this for me?? Thanks

Yessir, I'm experiencing the same issue. I'll have to check on the bluetooth one, though.

EDIT: interesting...the "Mod version" still says "The Ultimate Droid 2.1.0"...ummmm...reflashing now...

werid...but the download from the UD site was verison 2.1.0...not 2.3.0. so i used the alternate link...and that one contained 2.3.0...i'll be testing all day today...

my lockscreen doesnt have a messaging shortcut...how do i set that up?

EDIT: nevermind...found it...and it works for me...i'm using Handcent SMS 3.4.5

Yes it does goto Input settings , check phone and messaging settings.... and under that it says Messaging tab application.
You need to indicate an action for it. If you want it to go to mms pick app and then mms otherwise nothing happens.
 
well, wiping the data/cache and reflashing 2.3 fixed the screen issues in my above post. so far i have only noticed 3 other issues.

- no matter what color you set your battery percentage to, you cannot read it on the new black/white striped battery notification icon.
- answer/ignore sliders are off center on call answer screen
- messenger slider on lock screen does not work.

other than that, i am really liking it!
 
I installed this last night without wiping. It works really well. However it does have a few quirks that leave me with questions.
1. I do not have the phone nor the messenger tabs on my lockscreen. Is there a fix?
2. Is there a way to enable the scrollbars?
3. On the incoming call screen, the "accept call" slider is off to the left side. Any fix?
Otherwise, I really enjoy this ROM. It's Definitely 1 of the best!
 
I am having camera issues again. When i go to turn up the exposure it will turn it up for the preview but will not capture with the same image.

I hate installing a rom and having camera issue. Back to Charity Rom.
