New moto driod

Hey guys and grils . New to Android Forums. Just dropping to say Hi. I have been browsing for a few days now. Im a new owner of a moto driod. Loving the :D Android! Thanks!
 
hi chris: if you've the time could you tell us, what you like or dislike about the droid. I am,maybe some others too,who like to know before they make any decision. I hope that you are an ex-iphone user.I said that because I am in this community to siphon more info before I ditched my iphone 3g for the Milestone (canada) in early 2010.
BTW, I only spent about 10mins with the Droid in the U.S and that was it,HOOKED!

I really don't have any bad things to say about the phone besides the bettery life is short. I would think of getting a bigger battery for it.
Last night I put my phone on charge @ 11:00pm worke up at 5am fullly charged play with for about 20mins before work by 10:am(break time) had 1/4 charged left. At lunch time 1:00 it was off. but I love it anyways.

I like every about the driod apps, games, seach.
battery life stinks.

Aren't you glad you that it wasn't an iphone if it were you would not have the freedom to replace it. You can even replaced with a more powerful battery and still able to keep the other one as spare.So is the SD card and when the 32 gb comes available next year you too have the freedom to replace.You can do multi-tasking and I am too envious to mention anymore, my Iphone can only dream of.
So don't dont knock your phone. For your information,you know how much is going to cost me to replace my battery on the iphone? I was told it is going to cost Over a hundred dollars and I have to send it in and takes more than a week.I am allow to say STINK!! not you my friend.Can you imagine the small battery cost more than a car battery.
Apple don't even trust me to replace my battery,still treats like kid because I can play a lot of games on it and I have to pay them $100.00 labour to do that.Cost of battery is only $30.00. Is that not "Control"?

I am waiting for early 2010 for the Milestone (aka droid) to launch in canada. BTW, we have multitouch,(pinch and zoom) and GPS.
So in the meantime, trying to switch between the 2 iphone 3Gs to try multi-tasking, so far,no can do.LOL' Also, hoping that the battery don't quit on me anytime soon. I'll be putting the 2 iphones on ebay and CL. Just feel sorry for the new owners.They will have to learn the hard way, I guess. :eek:
BTW,how do you find the Droid? Having fun with it and do find it challenging?
