Root TranQ 3.5.1 Reboots

FWIW - I have been on Tranquility ever since TBH leaked the 2.3.320 early.

I followed the following upgrade path:
ApeX 1.0->Total wipe (data+cache) & install 2.3.320-> TranQ 3.5 ->TranQ 3.5.1

I have had exactly 0 problems and LOVE this ROM!!

I also loved ApeX back in the pre-2.3.320 days, but I can't find a compelling reason to switch - I am a satisfied customer!

PS. Sorry to those of you having issues...try following my upgrade path starting at "Total wipe (data+cache) & install 2.3.320"...Lets see how that works out!

PPS. I ALWAYS read the release notes and follow install instructions meticulously before trying new ROMs, especially these days when SBFing is partial or iffy...these problems popping up remind me how important that really is!

If you look at posts #28-#31 in the linked thread, it says tranq 3.5.1 is on 2.3.340 not 2.3.320. Supposedly it's a build.prop mod that makes it read as 2.3.320, or am I misunderstanding something here:

Breaking: DROID X Update to 2.3.340 Coming, Madden 2011 to be Pre-installed

All I know is I dl'ed TranQ from the TBH app, installed and looked at my system and it didn't update it to .340. So just speaking on experience and not what the thread states. I followed every instruction the best I could. I was confused about the manually formatting part, but I did format the system prior to flashing it.

Yes, that's what the build.prop change was for, to make it read as 2.3.320 instead of 2.3.340 when in reality it is build 2.3.340.

Aixelsyd is a moderator over in those forums. I would think he is certain of what he is saying, considering the gravity of the type of information he is reporting; I would also think that P3droid, Cellzealot or BBCrackman would have corrected him by now if he was reporting false information (not intentionally I'm sure).
