Accessories Does screen protector.......

decrease sensitivity of the touchscreen? In my case that would probably be a good thing as I'm always inadvertently touching buttons and starting apps. I'm thinking of having my home screen blank and moving my home screen apps to the second page.

Yes it does for me but also change the "feel" of my finger on the glass, which I dislike - thus no screen protector for me.

I have a screen protector. Doesn't in the least decrease sensitivity for me.

So it must depend on the brand of protector.

I got these protectors. Agree with the reviewer that these are NOT antiglare, but I'm ok with that. I find all protectors are difficult to install. They're durable. But they do show oily smudges from your fingerprints rather easily. I just wipe down with a lightly dampened paper towel once a day.

I'd rather have the protector than not, Gorilla Glass notwitstanding. Just so I can wipe as often as I want and not worry about scratching or wetting the electronics.

Exactly. Mine came with the 'skin' I got for my phone, it's durable as hell and really doesn't negatively affect sensitivity, but I've heard the oppose from others about different brands.

In my own experience, I found that soft screen protectors decreased sensitivity for me, and hard plastic ones didn't as much. And as examples, my Skinomi protector was soft, and my Clairvue is hard.

I use a zagg invisible shield protector. It makes the screen feel a bit tacky, and does dull the sensitivity slightly. I actually thinks its an enhancement, it makes the screen more usable. Too sensitive normally for me. You will find them expensive, but you will only need one. They don't scratch, they even self heal! Had one on my much abused old phone, fantastic.

I use SGP Steinheil, which is REALLY REALLY GOOD (I got it at recommendation of a tech savvy friend), and I found that it offer's really good protection. It makes the screen a little less sensitive, but I feel the main difference is the "feel" of the screen. Now the touch screen has a little resistance and honestly, I pretty much only feel it while playing games, but it took a lot of getting used to. I really liked the screen feel out of the box, but I think a couple less points on Line up or Bonsai Blast is worth it (especially since I keep my phone in my pocket and like stuffing my pockets during the day).
