PS3 Game help?

I recently got a Ps3 and i have enjoyed it so far.. I have play just cause on it and fall out 3. Are thre any really great games that i should look into getting? I saw Dead rising 2 and it looked cool Does anyone know any thing about this game? Any good?

BTW I'm not a hardcore FPS kinda gamer.. im more of a casual gamer :)

Dead Rising 2 is pretty fun, I have it. Pretty much a lot of zombie mashing with a storyline and missions to be done, good game. Also check out Uncharted, great game and great storyline that really keeps you interested. Haven't played Uncharted 2 yet, but I hear it's just as good, if not better. And I love the whole God of War series. You can get the first 2 games remastered for PS3 on a single Blu-ray disc for not too much, and then GoW3 was a pure PS3 game, great games! Puzzle solving, fighting, strategy, timing stuff, good times.
 
The Dragon Age series is by far the best set of games for the PS3 imo... Black Ops is fun and addiction, but it gets old fast (at least to someone who doesn't enjoy repetitiveness like myself).

I also enjoyed FFXIII, although I had my grudges against it.

Enchant Arm is also pretty good, although its gameplay is a bit different.

As you can see, I am an avid RPG fan.
 
Im not much of a FPS fan to be honest...Ill have to check out god of war.. i have heard some really good things about the 3rd one...

i just got a PS3 as well, so far i only have gt5 and little big planet and was looking for some other games to buy. I never got into the COD series.
 
It really all depends on your play style. Some people like sports games, some people like RPGs, and some just like a nice bit of mixture of them all. Before I placed my PS3 into retirement, I made sure to play the games that appealed to me the most. Those games were; MLB: The Show, Heavy Rain, Fat Princess, Uncharted (1 & 2), MGS4, God of War and MAG.

People can tell you what games they like but that doesn't always mean that you will like them as well. You would probably be better off renting them from Blockbuster or GameFly then determining for yourself if you do or don't like it.
 
Most of the PS3 exclusives are really great

God of War III
Uncharted 1 & 2
Infamous
Killzone 2 and Resistance but they are FPS

Other than those id give
Read Dead Redemption
Assassins Creed II and brotherhood
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion if you like fallout

1) Should also probably include GoW 1 & 2 for a better idea of story

2) Haven't played RDR, but LOVED Read Dead Revolver, so this one is probbaly good too.

3) Haven't played this, but on my list. Again, should probably play Uncharted 1 also just for a better understanding of the story. Also, Uncharted 3 will be released next year.

4) If you don't like FPS, then don't bother with this. If you do, then GET THIS GAME!

5) Again, get Assasssin's Creed 1 and 2 also... The main story is pretty short in all of these, so you can breeze through 1 and 2 just to ready you for Brotherhood in which you can go all out with side quests.

6) I can't stress this enough.. Get EVERY piece of DLC as well as the Awakening Expansion. The story is sooo much deeper than the initial Dragon Age: Origins story. Also, Dragon Age II comes out in March, so better hurry!

7) This game is hit or miss with the fans. I loved it despite its linearity, but a lot of people didn't. You may want to try this one out first to make sure. Though if you are an avid FF fan like myself, I don't see how you could not like it. ;)

RDR is game of the year. It is worth very penny and free DLC and it was just a epic game.

GOW yes i forgot to add 1 and 2 same for Assasssin's Creed 1 and 2
 
Thanks guys! Sounds like i have alot to think about..
I played FF13 on the xbox already SO,
I saw my friend play dragon age on is Xbox looked pretty interesting.
And i did play oblivion on the XBox loved it but i finished everything in the game! ahah might just get it for ps3 so i can play it agian lol i love that game.
