Captivate's MicroUSB Port - HUGE design flaw

No, I think it's because I evaluate price vs quality. I don't mind paying a bit more, especially if it saves me time and aggravation.

This is exactly why I consider this to be somewhat of a design flaw. You don't need to sacrifice a good price or hunt around for a cable that fits for other phones. It complicates the user's experience - in a small way, sure, but still in a relevant way.

Many consider the lack of a dust door on the USB port to be a "design flaw". Unfortunately you can't have such a door without it recessing the port a bit, which will make some cables work better than others.

Can't have it both ways... either way, some people are going to be upset. I prefer having the dust cover, as I see that as the Right Thing To Do, as opposed to the Thing That Everyone Else Does.
