Root Any news on Velocity 0.4?

I'm just wondering if there is any news on the release of velocity 0.4? I'm not complaining or trying to rush anything, just wondering if there has been a delay. Thanks Trident for all your hard work!:)
 
IMO Velocity .4 > Punisher .1 but it really is not a fair comparison since this is tridents 4th installment as to deaths 1st.
 
I thought I saw him posting on Twitter that he was going to be uploading a surprise but not sure what that really referred to.
 
For death's first effort, Punisher is great. When Velocity v .4 comes out I'm sure it will be badass as usual. I am so thankful for the awesome developers on here that have really brought out the best of the Ally!
 
I just got into the custom ROM world and Velocity v0.3 has kinda left me burned and bummed, mainly because of how difficult and error-prone restoring all my phone's data and settings is (apparently manipulating the data within /data/data isn't exactly "proper"). Due to a huge problem with receiving SMS but not storing them ("You've got a message! Good luck reading it! Hahahahaha!"), I'm about to reflash it again tonight. It'd be nice if v0.4 would get posted so I can reflash with v0.4 instead of getting the runaround with 0.3 again.

tl;dr: also eagerly waiting

English dude, English. I didn't say "manipulating texts" anywhere in there. I said manipulating /data/data. To restore settings and other stuff, which happens to include texts. And "forget them lol" might be easy for you to say, but some people (myself included) like to hold on to their texts for reference, hence the ~250,000+ downloads of SMS backup/restore utilities.

I finally seem to be storing texts again though, so that's one down. And with an adjustment of the aggressive task killer (back down to Normal mode), my home screen (default) doesn't take 10 seconds to load anymore. For now. So that's good too. Now just eagerly awaiting 0.4 so I can do it all over again. :P

Velocity 4 can load a backup from Velocity 3 with a utility, just look at Tridents releases, also - my home screen takes milliseconds to load, whats going on?

i dont think people can read on this fourm... the public school systems have failed us lol...
personally i used root explorer and manual pulled anything i wanted from the phone. after i loaded the new rom i would just copy over the files i saved. i believe you can do this with titanium backup as well... just search 4 it on google.. also use z4root if you need to root your phone and you also may need to install busybox off of the market. you can do this if you want to go to the punisher rom or the fire-somthing rom... it is more basic then tridents tool which was made specifically for his unreleased v0.4 rom
 
Velocity seems to be no longer available via download ROM Manager. Get Error occurred while downloading the ROM list! Please contact the developer of this ROM.... just saying as I saw Trident post here.
