Motorola Atrix review and hands-on.

Here's what I don't understand. They're trying to show of the Tegra 2 processor but they choose a game that has been on iOS for months. I was hoping they would have something new to showcase the power of Tegra 2.

iOS will most likely get the new games first because there is a bigger market there and a uniformed platform.

Ehh.. I think your wrong there.

I think iOS will ONLY get new games first until tegra zone pops up!

Then atrix may get exclusives ;.;

Just do what I did. Sell the iPhone 4 for 600 bucks and get a 4th Gen iPod. It runs the same games/aps AND you come out 400 bucks ahead.

I would do that but coffee was spilled on it and now you can't hear to talk. You have to either use speakerphone or headphones.

???

dude of COURSE iOS gets more attention because of the big market... and I don't see the Atrix getting any exclusives; anything that nVidia puts effort into making a nice game, they will release for the Bionic and any other Tegra 2 phones.

Really makes no difference if there is a "Tegra Zone" because there will be more iOS devices either way and devs are out to make money......

notice how in the start of the video he said

"these tegra optimized games will come out in the next couple of weeks when the big phones come out"

Nice catch. I really do hope the phone comes out before the iPhone is released on Verizon. I would love for Motorola to be able to steal some of Apple's thunder.

Yep pretty much. I play a lot of Battlefield Bad Co 2 on my 4th gen iPod. It's basically an iPhone without the phone.

I'm wondering why no one has given a demo of a game on a TV instead of just on the phone. I thought that this was possible?

It is possible, but I think we are more interested in the phone. Your experience on a TV is going to depend on what type of TV you have.

Believe it or not, but you can still get a decent amount of money for broken iPhones. Just be honest about it in your description. There are many people/companies out there that will buy broken iPhones and either fix it and sell for profit, or simply gut it for parts.

I just looked on ebay. I had no idea that a broken iPhone 4 would sell for so much. I saw some for over $400. One thing I didn't think of is bringing it to Apple and telling them the problem and seeing if maybe I'm lucky and the sensor doesn't show that something was spilled on it. I know some people here have used iPhones. Have any of you had to return one because of issues with the phone? I'm wondering how Apple handles returns. Do they look at it and say ok it's broken here's a replacement or do they take it to look at it and tell you to come back after they've looked at it?

apple are most likely gonna be pretty ruthless.....hell they used to be in the NORMAL old ipod days way before iphone/itouch etc....

they will do like all other phone companys anyway and send it away to be looked at...which means you are without anything till they figure at least that YOU didnt cause the issue...and if you spilt coffee on it...likely chances are the moisture sensors are gonna being glowing...sorry man..

That's what I assumed. I may try it anyway and see what happens and if they won't do anything I'll just sell it on ebay.
