No it didn't. They activated it at the store even though I asked them not to and ran the OTA. So I had to reactivate my Pre Plus so I could get my stuff off it. Sigh.

Is that going to create issues when I root later???

Seems like rooting is a tad trickery post DL09. nitsuj17 can speak to that more Im sure. Then again if you are part of the root family. Maybe just root on your own before hand and then maunally apply the DL09. Either way its do-able

Kk ty Nitsuj I can't believe I waited so long to switch to an Android phone. Wow what an improvement over my Pre Plus.

Side note:
There are a lot of awesome things about webOS but without app support and carriers dropping it and such outdated hardware it was time to let go.

:)

I agree....my wife had a pre plus (4 or 5 actually i can't recall)...,we both liked webos a lot....and in many ways webos has a leg up on android...,but the lack of apps and support is a bummer...,and the hardware is flat terrible....her phone was breaking on a weekly basis.

I don't think you ll regret the switch. :)
