Moving Favourite Forums to the User CP

I'm subscribed to forums...
When you're in the main phone forum, go to 'Forum Tools' and select 'Subscribe to this forum'. The forum will have a link to the UserCP and shows the most recent thread that was posted in it.

That's in the phone app - I know it's there and use it. I was talking about here, in the desktop/browser.

Yes, my bad, the link is in the whole "favorites" box, so moving that would be great. I thought Phases was talking about putting the whole, long list of unread threads in the CP, which if that's what it took to get the favorites in there, it would have been OK with me. But the favorite box with the unread post link, would be great!

The method she is talking about is when you're in desktop/browser. On phone app you subscribe by hitting the menu button, though i haven't tried to subscribe to whole forums in app. I know while in phone app your subscribed forums don't show since there really isn't a dedicated 'user cp'
 
Thanx, but I figured it all out :) I'd already added forums on the phone app, I was being butt-headed about the desktop, forgive me ;)

Phases: I know you've been busy with the whole "All things root" issue, but how is this idea coming along? I'd love to see a list of my favorites in my CP! :D
 
I intend on looking into how easy it would be for me to port over without having to put it on our developers list of to-do's. If I can do it I will, if not - it will be up to Rob if he wants to include it for the developer.

I don't have a time table, though. Hopefully soon.
 
It's not pretty, but I placed the favorite forums box in it's entirety in user cp, under "subscribed forums".

Should you rather just a link, the "x unread posts since your last visit." somewhere, speak up - I'm open to it. However I think this helps keep [subscribed vs favorites] clear.

I will probably play around and try to tweak it into the same forum of "subscribed forums" , where it shows last post, etc, but I can't promise anything. In the meantime, at least it is there.

Also - the alignment issue of subscribed forums is on the dev list.

OK, it sounds like the feel you are intending with 'last post etc' is like what you have for the subscribed forums? If not...can you move it to the left where the 'your control panel' is? lol

Scroll ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM!!! It's there.
 
Yes, I'm wondering if that would be preferred vs at the bottom in the middle.. I'll work on aesthetics when that gets determined.

haha...I don't like. It makes the subsribed threads column really squished.
Can't you have it above the 'Your control Panel'? or it could be at the bottom where after the unread subscribed thread is if it has the 'last post' integrated into it.
