Root {Theme}{Port} REVOlution for 2.2 Vanilla Aosp and Kaoscinate

For those who made the jump to 2.2 aosp, here is a port of Manup456's REVOlution theme...check out his website www.digitalstylewars.com

*as usual im not responsible for anything that happens to your phone*

based now off of JT's 0.8.1 vanilla aosp

2.24.11: redid theme to accomodate newer version of aosp..enjoy :) ....if you leave the clock in on the rom, change the color to #FFFFFFFF
1.21-added kaoscinate version (no longer current)

credits: Manup456 obviously its his theme
omj for the dialer/contacts
DtatchD for all the theme help
retrokidd223 as there are some images he did for the dj05 port that im sure ive acccumulated in this version

the link seems to be broken im getting a dropbox error. which is bad because i flashed the kaos one on aosp and I need the aosp one to fix phone from its new boot loop:o

Dropbox probably exceeded its bandwith sorry

Also icant speak to kaoscinate update but jts 0.2 will not work with current theme and he went back to roto unlock and built in batt percentage which is um a tad tougher to work with. :sigh:

but if anyones on 0.2 can they let me know if spare parts allows you to turn off batt percentage? if not ill have to see if i can figure out where to remove it....and then put in regular accurate battery
 
looks like spare parts can enable/disable percentage...phewwww :)...although i havent personally tried it..........:o

haha yeah :)

im glad its an option...and actually makes life easier for the black aosp theme ill do for it...but i was concerned it would ruin battery icons...and apparently jt comes through again

Black would be nice...almost as nice as red ;) [hint hint] :D. I wont even ask for purple since Im on the only 2.2er who would use it at this point. But I know a lot of peeps use the red

galaxy red evolution will make its way over next...or at least in the next 2.....since black aosp is so easy and only ported to vanilla instead of kaoscinate ill prolly knock that down

well after revolution is updated again :cool:

probably only the big ones will be ported consistently...red, revo, matted blues...*maybe* nextang and black aosp where i see fit...and one of the gb variants either my mb one or the regular....since me and adiliyo seem to be the only ones porting stuff to 2.2 atm, we ll see

several people have indicated or started to theme recently so we ll see what makes it to what

with 2.2 coming (touchwiz) at some point from an ota...ill be more selective in what goes where, as it can get overwhelming :rolleyes:

i actually have the half done red gingerbread theme...but i kind of tabled that and may make it the first 2.3 port if that ever sees the light of day, as kind of a welcome to gb :)

:cool: I'd use most of what you said and I'd be down with some GB too.:D
 
I'd love to see a port of retro's DJ05 GB theme for 2.2 (with a skinned dialer too? :D ), but honestly I'm perfectly content to wait until a more finished release of 2.2 is generally available.

Fortunately I'm in no rush. Between voodoo, superclean, and retro's GB theme, I'm very happy with my current 2.1 build :)

Yeah...i would never putdown anyones work at all....but i looked at the theme and was very, very incomplete for a first release

Im assuming it was put out like that just to claim gb going forward....which if that's the case that's fine....so hopefully it gets updated
