Root Myn TpT RLS 4 Kernal-Horrible Battery Life

Im running myn TpT and it's a little slow and its killing my battery. How can I get the Netarchy 4.1.9 kernel and how do I install it, also will that help?

Also if you are on rls 4 and have the latest updated radios etc. your phone will not run well no matter what kernel you use. You may need to update to rls 5.

Ok, thanks. I also tried to find out what Radio and hboot im using and I cant find it on my ROM manager. Where else can I find it? I was able to see my current Kernel (2.6.32.15.g59b9e50) but that does not seem right.

Turn the phone off, then turn it back on while pressing and holding the volume down button. That will take you to hboot, where you will see both your hboot version and your radio version. You can also find your radio version by going to menu->settings->about phone->software information while booted up normally.
