The Bolt wil be available 2/14!

I am purchasing a Wireless Zone/Verizon Wireless store in Washington DC area and was in training these past three weeks. We met with the htc rep and he brought with him live, working Thunderbolts and I must say...the phone is outstanding!

I have an EVO and I definitely think the Bolt is a nice step up. The screen interface is better, pictures and text look more crisp and detailed, better build quality, twice as fast as the EVO, and Sense 2.5 is really impressive. The quadrant score on the one I was using was 2150!

Obviously, I will be switching from Sprint now that I will be a Verizon store owner and the Thunderbolt will be definitely be my choice.

I will also be offering discounts on accessories to the members here and will post more information about that next week.

I'm not the least bit interested in going back and forth with people who don't believe me. If you don't....cool. I could care less. However, I will be taking the store over on 2/1 and can't wait!

Wish I could man! Our cost on phones are only slightly discounted from full retail. So, I take an immediate lost on each phone I sell but make the money on the back end with commissions on the activation/upgrade.

But like I said...I will definitely be offering specials for the people that find me on here and other forums.

well until you give some solid evidence all it is is hear say and rumors if you do indeed own a store then you should have some kind of evidence

And what's solid evidence to you? Copies of all the documents I signed?

How about this.....anyone that is in the area of my store can stop on in on Tuesday and see for themselves.

Simple enough right?
 
I'll congratulate you man. I see what you are saying. I am trying to decide between the Thunderbolt and the Bionic. Could we get a nice review of a working unit?

I did, however, come on here to share a little bit about the Thunderbolt I got to use on Wednesday when the htc rep came and gave us a presentation on their new products--the Thunderbolt and Emerge.

I gave a brief review of the Bolt in my initial post and I love the phone! Like I said...I currently have an EVO and although similar, the Bolt is a significant step up in refinement and elegance. Sense 2.5 is much better as well and I'm really looking forward to getting one. We were supposed to have the Motorola rep on Thursday as well but with all the snow (in Connecticut)...she wasn't able to make it, so, I haven't seen the Bionic in person yet but I'm definitely looking forward to it. Not a huge fan of Blur though but we'll see.
 
Any hint as to what accessories will be available? Specifically a dock? I have the Droid X now and had a BB Storm before that and have fallen in love with using the dock/phone as my nightstand clock/alarm

Nah...we didn't get any information on available accessories outside of some cases.

And since you're so close....come check me out! I pass right through Clarksville on my way out there.

We were told by our Director of Purchasing that Verizon has a launch date of 2/14 (or sooner if so) for the Bolt. He didn't know anything on pricing points yet.

Haha nice! I live in Northern Va and work in Howard (used to live there) so I drive right through Montgomery every day (sucky 495) so maybe ill have to swing by your place to get the phone when my upgrade comes up.

Congrats! I am taking over a Cricket Wireless the same day! Lol no joke. This is going to be a good year for pre paid cells because of the economy.


Any way I just switched back to VZW and got the X. My 30 day exchange is over around the 10th. I am going to send the Droid X back around then and use my girlfriend's old voyager until the Thunderbolt is available
