You need to go to stock first. Not installing over other ROMs, unless it's Gummyjar, but that may have changed with this version.

you can install over another rom as long as you do a factory reset/ data& cache wipe from within recovery first.
Changes to the services.jar will cause this. Did you install anything other than the UD theme? like the no clock mod

Best ROM thus far! I love it! Running smooth right now...battery life seems better then 1.0. Running Gingerbread Blue and can't be any happier, thanks guys!

piggy backing on what tom said... I installed this over apex by following the directions and wiping data/factory reset and it worked perfectly
so yes you should be fine installing it over darkslide or anything else as long as you follow the directions

Go into the liberty toolbox and change you battery icons to one with numbers!
toobox-->Liberty Mods-->Icon Piker-->Battery Icons

Installed it this morning and have been running it all day and then tonight and have seen zero issues or problems. No reboots, no nothing. Water temp is fine so come on in
Just do a nandroid backup and throw it on there. If you have major problems or don't like it, then just restore back to you backup.

I forget which setting it was, either custom icons, custom transitions, etc. from teh toolbox, it always reset my wallpaper to the stock liberty wallpaper--and when I tried to change wallpapers back, I would get a FC (not launcher, but wallpaper...something).

Otherwise, very snappy, but the battery life is still worse than apex.
Also, why don't they clean up the screen that shows up when you are in a call? It looks so amateur compared to the rest of the rom, which looks very clean and professional. The fonts/boxes (dialer, end call, conference)/etc. don't line up and arent the same size; the call-time is off to teh right of the contact picture, the background is some terrible green shade, etc.
Any chance of getting the GB Themed dialer that was released for Apex? I tried flashing it but it didn't work.

Yea Jrummy16 is aware of that bug.. Should be working on it as soon as he gets back from class.

I haven't had any issues today with it (just flashed). I had Touchdown ready but so far 1.5 Exchange support is working like a champ.

anybody having issues with setting up the overclock. everytime i turn it on and set it to the values i want, after restart, it nevers turns on. is there something i am doing wrong? any help is appreciated.

The Droid X has the best devs out there right now. These guys do incredible work. Honestly, with a ROM like this the locked bootloader is a complete none issue for me.
We all need to donate to these guys. They deserve all the support we can give them.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Bootloader being locked being a "non-issue" is the best way put it. Well, I've also never experienced an unlocked one lol so I don't know what I'm missing.
